Stayed at Eden Lago with my 15 year old son. The hotel is really clean and lovely. Very well looked after. The staff all spoke english and were all very pleasant and helpful. The pool and pool area was always clean but the pool is freezing cold!! - All inclusive was lovely. Food was delicious and plenty of things to drink during the day. Ice lollies are included but kept behind the bar under the counter!! (So, just ask)! - All inclusive finished at 11pm and everybody went to bed!! - The evening entertainment was all in German as was the holiday rep and most of the signs advertising exersions!! (There was a folder on reception with all exersions in english) - As I booked with Thompson on line and flew with Thonpson I was expecting a Thompson rep etc. We were infact the only english there!! This hotel is definately aimed at Germans who were all very lovely but it was a little strange and isolating. Alcudia is a beautiful resort but very quiet. Complete opposite to Magaluf etc. We caught the bus most evenings to different parts of Alcudia as it is very quiet around the hotel.
Its a 5 minute walk to the sea and what a beautiful coast line it it!! The sand is white and totally beautiful. Had to pay 4 Euro's 80 for a sunbed thow! We went on the open top bus tour which was nice (approx 1 hour) and we also went to Waterpark for the day which was great, but very expensive once you are in there!!
Over all the holiday was fab!! - feel very rested and enjoyed the piece and quiet. Good clean location and hotel was lovely. Beware of the Mozzies as the hotel backs onto a lake!! Spent alot more money than intended, so take a bit extra with you. Enjoy!
Oh, forgot to say, dont get to excited about Evening entertainment!! - Parrots on skateboards, bingo, quiz nite etc - The plate spinning and knife balancing was quite good thow!

We have just got home from the Eden Lago where we stayed for a week with the entire family - both adults and small children. The apartments were very, very nice and clean.

We had ordered the All Inclusive and all meals were very good and there were a lot of differet foods to choose between. Lunch and dinner were a bit alike with warm disches and dessert. Breakfast was exeptionally good - everything you could ever imagine. The snack was primarily a few disches of fried foods - not very healty!

The service was very good - all the staff was very friendly and helpful.

However, the entertainment was in German. There was a Swedish girl (from the hotel) and a large German team from a German travel agency. Every night there was entertainment for children (1 hour) and afterwards 1 hour for "adults". This entertainment was in German and they used microphones, which meant that it wasn't possible to sit in the bar/lounge area during these hours. Well not if you would like to have a conversation. There were a lot of seats outside, but last week is was generally too cold to sit there, so we didn't really have a place where the family could get together.

The hotel is locatad at the Alcudia coast. In our opinion a little too far from restaurants, bars and shops.

Overall we had a very nice stay, and it would have been great for the children (if the spoke German!!), but we wouldn't go there again based on the location and the German entertainment.

We are from Scotland and booked this holiday on line before we read the reviews that said it was mainly used by German speaking families!!! Dont worry and please dont let this put you of! The only problem was the entertainment at night was mostly in German but still funny and entertaining. The staff were very friendly, the food in the buffet restuarant was varied and excellent quality. Would recomed the freshly baked croissants in the morning!! The pool area was well laid out and there was plenty loungers even for those who are not up at 6am to put towels out!! We will definately be bokking again.

I went on holiday with my partner and two young children. The staff in the restaurant were excellent in every way. They were friendly, good with the children and quick to clean up. Rooms very clean and pool lovely (although very cold so only the children were brave enough to enter!) Predominantly German holiday makers at this hotel but had read reviews and knew what to expect. My children couldn't join in with the kids club because they couldn't speak German and all the entertainment was in German but we still enjoyed watching! The apartments are located next to a beautiful lake and the beach a short walk away. In a quiet location (away from the 'British Bulldog' scene) but enough shops and restaurants nearby to walk to. Great value for money. Loved the holiday in every way. Would highly recommend it!
