Just returned from a 7 night AI break at the Eden Lago, our trip was booked at the last minute but we were not disappointed with our choice of hotel. This hotel is friendly, clean and has a great selection of food. The hotel is geared towards German guests, as is this part of Alcudia, but don't let this dissuade you from staying here. We would definitely think of returning here for another off peak trip but imagine it would be much busier during the school holidays.

Stayed here Aug 06, this was allocation on arrival so we didnt have a clue where we were going, a little worried with 2 small children too, we were pleasantly surprised when we arrived, lovely hotel, friendly reception staff, cleaners and bar staff too, lovely clean pool area, great entertainment team, did everything they could to please everyone, we returned in 2007 great holiday once again, would definelty return to this hotel again, close to the lovely playa de muro beach.

Just stayed at Edan lago Alcudia for 2 weeks, we knew this hotel was prominently german before we went don't be put off by this it was a great hotel with great location clean lovely rooms fantastic food and great friendly staff.our daughter suffers from severe food allergies and the restaurant manager and snack bar cook did everything possible to help us. The only down side is the entertainment for English kids and everything is catered for the Germans but it didn't bother us or my daughter.

This hotel is mainly for german famalies, we did not meet any english people there, but we did not mind as we were always busy. The hotel is very clean and the food is exceptional, The children were very well behaved at meal times, but did stay up late making a lot of noise, 1 night until 2am. We found out that the studios were 2 sofa beds that were made up each day with no proper beds, we thought this was unacceptable for a 4 star hotel, so we upgraded to an apartment before we went for £30 per room we were in room 131 on the first floor. it was a corner apartment, so had wonderful views of the lake one side and the other side of the apartment overlooked the stage, so if there was a show worth watching you could sit on your balcony and watch it. I must admit there were not many shows that were worth watching they were all very poor, The beach was a few minutes walk away and the shops 5 minutes, we had a car so we did not need to get any buses. The snack bar was very good hot dogs chips pork fillet sandwich's toasties etc The tea and coffee was disappointing as it was from a machine in a paper cup and tasted pretty rough, so we made our own tea in our apartment. I will now tell you the prices we paid out travel dates were 5th-13th october 8 night all inclusive. for 2 people

The pool was very clean with a shallow side and deeper side, but l think it was quite cold as we did not see many people using it just a few kids braving the cold, all in all it is a great hotel if you have, or love kids, but for us it was too family oriented as we like peace and quiet at our age (58 &62) but we cannot fault the hotel and l think you would be hard pressed to find one of this standard in Majorca go on give it a go and enjoy.
