After reading some reviews after I had booked holiday in November last year - I was a little concerned. But the apartments were clean and spacious. 2 bed 2 bath for a family of 4 with a large kitchen/living area.

Complex smaller than I expected but I was pleased as the time of year we went meant it was quiet. I dont think I would enjoy it in high season as the poolside would be jam packed. Staff very pleasant and helpful - with lots of free drinks!! Entertainment was provided most nights - parrots, 'elvis', magic show, for kids was ok but not exceptional - easy to watch after a hard day exploring the island. No noise experienced from late night revellers but apartment walls are very thin and you can hear conversations from your neighbours room!

Bars/restaurants nearby are very 'British' and did not appeal to us so we didnt use them. The beach is about a ten minute walk away and the beach bars are very expensive so avoid.

I would stay at these apartments again if I was to come back to Alcudia - great value for money (£666 for family of four for 7 nights) as we had no complaints at all. However I did hear of people paying £1400+ and for this amount I would be a little disappointed. I would return to Majorca but will probably stay in Palma - has alot more to offer.

Air conditioning is essential and cheap, internet access cheap, food very average from what we sampled, rooms cleaned regularly, excellent customer service. Overall a very nice holiday - alot more than I expected.

Apartments - Good size clean and serviced regularly by pleasant cleaners, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms 2 balconys and largeish kitchen/lounge in one - no problems

Pool - Very clean OK size for amount of apartments but prefered the Mariners pool which you can use free of charge (and all their other facilities) and its only a few steps through the back gate

Entertainment - Basic much prefeered the Mariners theres a Kids clubs free of charge and an act everynight Abba etc good family holiday fun

Facilities - small bar serving good cheap bar food and good breakfasts cheap and good quality although we preferred the Britannia pub two doors away as they served fab brekkies and had cbeebies on big tvs for the kids while you had your breakfast also they had a fab selection of evening meals Abduls curries were superb

Location - not great although it says in the brochure its a walk to the beach, it is a flat walk but with 2 children in toe in 90 degree heat with beach stuff its a long walk along a main road its a pain, we got taxis 4 euros each way and reception will order them for you, drivers are very friendly and never ripped us off

Staff - friendly and happy to help

One big problem where this is situated is across the road from a massive all inclusive hotel that has music booming 9am - midnight and above an arcade and fun pubs so there is a lot of noise having said that the noise stops at midnight. Then the caberet starts !! the bar at the Solecito serves until the last man standing is in a coma usually about 3 am this wouldnt be a problem on a large complex where the bar is out of the way but this is a small complex centered around the bar which is outdoor the screaming laughing and obsenities until 3-4 am is a pain. I blame this totally on the management who want to make as much money as possible at the expense of families who want to get to sleep midnight onwards. Believe me im not a party pooper but on a family holiday with a 2 year old i dont need it ,at 3am the noise carries and everyone was fuming. Sort it out Keith families dont want to hear everyones life history being screamed around the bar into their bedrooms in the early hours or agadoo at 4 am its advertised as a family complex so sort it before people start booking the Mariners which is shut down at midnight or re advertise it as an 18 - 50 !! twice in 2 days the police were called and 1 arrest its your responsibility to sort it ............................................

Water park across the road fab, can Picafort a great trip and loads of gorgeous restaurants around the Mariner in Alcudia with guitar playing etc great shops and great booze and ciggie prices would i go back ? ................... not a chance - i like to sleep on my holidays

This was our first time in Majorca and what a fantasic holiday infact we have booked up for next year and our friends are coming too it is for kids familys and adults the staff Raffa and keith went out of their way to help you any way they could we are back next october and the kids cant wait so watch out because here come the Sexton 5 again.
