My husband and I stayed here for 7 nights juust last week. Check in was swift, with very friendly staff in reception. First impressions of this hotel are that its fresh and modern feel to it, and spotlessly clean too. One thing though, dont forget to get a safe key from reception when you check in, think it was €12 and you €5 back when you check out, the rest covers insurance.

We stayed in a one bed apartment, again this was spacious, clean and brilliantly stocked with utentsils, washing up liquid and sealed sponge/scourer in the kitchen. Watch out fo rht low hanging light over the table, few knocked heads from this, but its nothing major, and possibly the only fault we could find (its not even a fault :) ) We never had trouble with ants or mossies, as the room was cleaned every day except wednesday.

They supply sponges in the bathroom, and only handwash, so bring all toilettries you need.
There are three wardrobes, so plenty of storage space. Plenty of blankets should you need them, and extra pillows too. We had a room with a sea view, and its well worth it, as the view to the mountains as the sun sets is beautiful.

There is a supermarket about 2 mins walk from the hotel, that will have everything you need, and is more than reasonable too. It opens early on Sundays too, which is handy if like us you arrive late on Saturday evening.

It is less than a minutes walk to the beach from the hotel, so has brilliant location. I would recommend going further to your left once you hit the beach if you want to make the most out of the days sun shine.

The bar in the hotel is lovely, and they make a mean Margarita :)
The left luggage room is the best I have seen any where. There are shelves forthe luggage, a couch and chairs, two showers with plenty of space to bring yrou stuff into before you shower, all behind a locked door, so you dont have to try and dress out with everyone.

There is a toilet, with hairdryer and all there too. They ave little lockers that you can leave passports and keys in there if you arent being picked up til late and want to stay on the beach. They also have a machine where you can weigh your luggage, to avoid hassel in the airport.This hotel has thought of everything. We will most definitely go back to stay here, loved every minute.

We stayed for a week in late September. The hotel is well located with the beach to the rear and views out to the hills from the front balconies. You can either walk 5 minutes to the quieter bars and restaraunts one way or walk 20 minutes to the main strip for the lively music bars and shops. Buses are frequent, although can get packed and taxi fares are very reasonable. The hotel caters for half board or you can go self catering, which we did. The rooms are very clean, the units seem new and rooms are cleaned every day except for Wednesdays. Across the road The Sandwich Bar is run by a very friendly British couple who can cater for the full fried breakfast to takeaway sandwiches for a day on the beach. All in all a lovely hotel, with excellent receptionists to poolside and entertainment staff.

we stayed for 2 weeks, in room 225 which was fine the double glazing worked well and we heard no noise from outside, our room was next to the stairs, lift and recyling bins this for us was a problem from 6.30 am onwards other visitors were putting glass bottles into the bins and walking up and down the stairs (which was very noisey plus we heard the cleaner sweeping the stairs too l know this needs to be done but the bed was positions against the stairway wall so very noisey) would l book this hotel again Yes l would very clean staff helpful didnt eat there or use pool as prefer beach which is it very close too.

We stayed at the Ivory Playa in September for 7 nights and will definetly return in the future. The hotel was very clean and the staff very friendly. close to the beach. We stayed in one of the Apartments which was great, even though it was an apartment it was part of the hotel and the rooms were cleaned every day, staying in the apartment was great for us as it gave us the flexibility to do what we wanted and eat when we wanted - there was a shop across the road which stocked everything that you could need. and the beach just 50 yards away It has an excellent location close to beach, shop and many restaurants.The bus stop was just outside the hotel which would take you into the Port or the Old Town. Plenty of restaurants nearby - we found a lovely restaurant just 10 mins walk up the road - the Albufria Restaurant - great food and great staff, also the Irish Bar just 5 mins away was a great place to end the night - great staff.
