we went here just before the season started and got a great price for a half board stay.
usually i would be wary of the food on offer in these resort hotels but this was very edible, great as the resort itself is very expensive so you can eat at the hotel a few nights and afford a meal out at a restaurant.
breakfast was ok too.
the rooms were standard , what you expect in these resort hotels.
mainly families staying and a mostly English crowd.
usual snack bar facilities by the pool and comedic evening entertainment.
the hotel is a fair walk to the marina but there are many shops and bars nearby and its a short walk to the beach.
to summarise , a good basic value hotel if you can get the right price on a half board basis, perfect for kids as you and your children will be able to eat at the buffet and save a fortune.
bear in mind its an expensive island , 2 sunloungers at the beach were 15 euro for the day

We visited during 15 -22nd October school week. This was 4th visit and unfortunately probably the last. The hotel staff are excellent particularly the friendly receptionists and the excellent snack bar staff who manage to be pleasant and smile all day. Dining room staff work very hard and the chambermaids keep rooms and hallways very clean. The rooms are basic but okay though the bathrooms look dirty and very much need cleaned up - broken and dirty tiles and discoloured bath. We have a teenager and there was not a lot of things that he got involved in. The entertainment was not great though this is a family hotel so I think that the families are often quite happy to make the entertainment e.g.karaoke and quiz nights and the atmosphere is very family orientated (no falling about drunks) so a big plus and definately good for families. BUT... the food is of a very poor standard. We always managed to eat something but it was not a particlarly enjoyable experience. Food is an important part of a holiday and whilst we don't expect 5star our previous experience in this hotel has always been that the food was of a particularly good standard therefore we were expecting the same as previous visits. We had pork quite a few times, some chicken bones once and a variety of poorly cooked food throughout the rest of our stay. During our previous stays there was a roast or carvery type meat most nights this time we had roast beef on one occasion. I have to strongly suggest that the food is looked at as a matter of urgency. I would not come back to stay because of standard of poor food - even chips were badly cooked and soggy, pizza was dried up, pasta dishes were pathetic and the accompanying packet sauce was disgusting. Vegetarian option which had previously been excellent was dire. In fairness the breakfast was very good with a cooked selection, cereal and cake and yoghurt. Fruit was in very short supply though - almost non existant apart from hard pears, I saw apples and bananas once!!!. The snack bar was quite good and probably better thant the restaurant!!!On a Thursday evening there was a questionnaire issued for feedback. Funnily enought this was the night that we had a glass of some sort of fruit punch at the dining room door. The food dramatically improved that evening but what a pity reverted to the usual "slop" the next day. I am so sorry to give this poor review as we have enjoyed all of our previous stays but unfortunately this is a true account of what our experience was. I know that prices have gone up but when you pay for all inclusive you expect to be able to eat more than sandwiches. We thought we had found a gem of a hotel which we were happy to revisit and would probably have done so for a few years yet however definately the last time for us. Big thank you to the fantastic staff in this hotel and genuinely sorry to give poor review of food but it was really pretty awful.

this was our first holliday abroad and in no way a disapointment our 10 year old son loved the freedom meeting many freinds snack bar exellant for kids meals were good breakfast amazing room cleaned daily if required staff frendly intertainment good lots of shops bars etc beach 5min walk old town market 20 mins chemist just round the corner we had a very relaxed stay here would recomend as a good family resort.

Good deals to be had in October - in the last week of the season. Entertainment team very good, drinks arrangement very good, rooms basic but cleaned every day, restaurant and food is very basic - read 'greasy spoon'.
Watch out for very high cost in summer
