“A great hotel”

We recently returned from a 5 night stay at this hotel. We received excellent service from arriving through to departing. The rooms we spotless, the cleaning staff very friendly, reception staff very efficient and bar/restaurant staff very pleasant. There is everything to hand that you need so you don't need to leave the hotel unless you wish to venture out into the town. The old town of Alcudia has some very interesting museums and nice restaurants.
Bicyle hire is available direct from the hotel with some very good cycle paths. We had a great time with lovely weather. I would love to return to this hotel in the not too distant future.

“Shame about my room location”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 October 2011

I got a really good deal for 3 nights b&b via bookings.com but on checking in the room I was allocated was at the end of a corridor right next to a lift so you can imagine the continual noise of people outside my room & the lift itself, banging doors etc. Sleep was not peaceful nor the noisy room next door with the TV blaring night & day so don't think the sound proofing is very good. The room itself was spacious, TV mainly German channels, balcony large enough, comfy bed but needed extra blankets. I asked for a kettle which came immediately albeit with no cups!

Hotel grounds & pool area excellent, the weather was not fantastic so didn't use the pool as not heated & was very cold, shame because it was so inviting. I used the indoor pool once which was ok for a dip.

Reception & internal areas clean & relaxing, staff very polite & helpful only downside was they kept answering the phone even if they were dealing with you which I found rather rude.

Location was great, you could choose to walk up through the marina or along the beach only a short distance to the bars & restaurants, lots to choose from.

Breakfast was mediocre, lots of choice but avoided the English selection, found the cold dishes more inviting. Ate the buffet dinner only once (a good price for only 12 euro) but found the food lukewarm, not replenished & poor quality so ate out the other nights.

Overall, I would stay here again but earlier in the year with warmer weather to enjoy the pool facilities & would certainly request a better room.

Room Tip: The balconies for the rooms facing the car park have no sun

“A little gem”

Booked as last minute holiday and was delighted with the accommodation. An absolutely stunning location beside the harbour and beach. Stunning freeform infinity pool, rather fresh temp in October! The stairs into the sea from the bar were brilliant. My son used one of the hotels nets to sit here and catch fish. The staff were very helpful and everywhere was spotlessly clean. Our rooms were shining every day. Rooms are totally adequate, not luxurious but we didn't pay for luxury. Plenty beds round pool and beach. Lots of wheelchair users in the hotel as it's very accessible with lots of ramps. Nightly entertainment even in October. Excellent choice of trendy bars and restaurants a 2 min walk away in the bay. Only 5 min from the main promenade with lots of choice. Would go back again with no concern.

“Fantastic hotel in a beautiful location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 October 2011

My husband & i stayed at the hotel on the 12th September for 1 week.
On arriaval at the hotel the reception staff were extremely friendly & helpful.
We had prebooked a suite with a sea view.
The 1st room we had overlooked the marina & sea. It was very modern & spacious though the balcony was overlooking the road around the marina & didn't have any privacy.
We asked to be moved to a pool side suite & we were advised to go back to the reception the following morning as the hotel was fully booked & there would be an alternative room available.
True to their word,we were shown 3 suites. Again, the reception staff were all very friendly & effecient.
We did end up paying more in resort to upgrade to their best, 1st floor suite, Room A113 that had uninterrupted views of the bay of Alcudia. It was perfect! We were happy to pay this as we do enjoy sitting out on an evening, taking in the beautiful views & watching the sun set each evening.
The hotel grounds are well manicured & the pool area was lovely, with plenty of free sunbeds available, whatever time you went down to the pool.
It was very peaceful around the pool area most of the time with very few children staying there.
I would certainly recommend this hotel to couples who want a lovely, modern hotel, close to the Port of Alcudia has to offer with very good service from the hotel staff.
From the bar area & terrace we enjoyed the wonderful views of the bay, with plenty of tables & chairs to enjoy a drink or meal throughout the day & evening & make the most of the hotels stunning setting.
We booked B&B,the restaurant was spacious & clean with a very good choice of food to choose from each morning.
We would recommend this hotel to couples wanting a well run, quiet hotel,in a stunning location & we will definitely be returning here when we next holiday in Alcudia.
A big thank you to all the staff for making our stay very enjoyable.

Room Tip: Upgrade to a pool side suite or if your budget allows upgrade to room numbers A113 or A114.

“Great Location but Rooms Need Updating”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 September 2011

We stayed in this hotel in May 2011. It has a great location on the shoreline and is within the confines of the marina itself. There are lovely restuarants and bars in the marina. The infinity pool and the steam room facilities of the hotel are good as is the cocktail bar. However, despite the fact that rooms are a good size, they are outdated and require refurbishing. We paid the additional fees for an upgrade on arrival to have improved accomodation at the pool; but there is no negoitation with staff over rates despite the fact that no one else had booked it and we had stayed with them before. Would have been a nice customer touch to have agreed some sort of negoitaion - everything is always about the Euro! Pool rooms are great location wise but beacuse of the tiling in the corridors outside the room - room service in the morning with trollies can be very noisy! Would stay here again purely for its location within the mairina.

Room Tip: Rooms by the pool are a bonus but not at the premium upgrade price.
