We arrived late at night and it looked a bit of a dump to be honest, we went in and the staff was really friendly, although the bar was closed he went and made us a drink, because we had travelled a long while. We were then taken to our rooms well, it was across the street to the hotel were our rooms was situated so we has to cross a road to get there which seemed a bit odd. We were situated on the top floor, all carrying over 20kg of lugage and was told the lift was out of order and to make it better there was no lights. once we reached our rooms they were very dirty, we put the fan on as it was quite warm and a layer of dust from the fan went all over the bed, we then went into the bathroom, when we went in the bathroom the toilet wouldn't flush, we went to the reception and they said they would sort it in the morining as it was late, back in the room, we thought we would get our clothes put away so we could go and soak up the sun the day after, we opened the wardrobe again another layer of dust on the shelves and cockroaches running about, so as you can imagin it didn't create a great first impression. The morining after we went to the reception to sort out the toilet we was told sobody would sort it during the day, we went by the pool awaiting dinner, and it seemed okay but the hotel is situated on a main street and seemed to have an odd sewer smell lingering around and also there seemed quite alot of wasps around, we then went for dinner and it was shocking all the food was either cold or inedable, every dinner and tea for the whole week i ate cheesy chips with ketchup, dinner and tea was the same every single day with not one new thing on the menu, the best bit of food there was the ice cream you could get from the bar so i hadn't been there 24 hours and wanted to go home, we thought we would go back to the room get ready and go out for a look about, about 20mins walk away is a lovely beach, which made things a little better. When we got back to the hotel we thought we would have a look at that loverly jacuzzi and sauna in the pictures in fact they are out of order, and had been for 6 months so still today i wouldn't count on it being open. We went back to the room after tea, and the toilet still hadn't been sorted so back down to recpetion it would now have to be the day after (to cut the story short it took 5 days before they came to fix it we only stayed 7days) on the second night we hardly had a wink of sleep with a crying noise and we just presumed it was a baby in a room nearby which didn't bother us to much as we understand that babies cry and its hard to stop them, however it wasn't a baby at all it seemed to get closer to the door, as we opened the door a black cat shot straight into the room and into the door leading to the balcony, as hilarious as it was a hotel should not allow cats to roam around it especially near peoples rooms. As the days went on the wasps and the smell seemed to get worse, you would sit around the pool and you couldn't have a drink without a wasp being in it, and then we found the culpret there was a wasps nest behind a bin we told the reception about this and they said they had known of this for some time but yet had not done anything about it, we was told the hotel was a 3* hotel in fact its a 2* but i think it's luck to have one you want my advice do not got here it is TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!!
