“Value for money and quiet friendly hotel”

Travelled to the hotel with the NHSRF group and Della Holidays. Hotel was only 45 mins from the airport in the evening, though a longer journey by coach on return.
The week's stay was during the last week of the season in October but the staff were very attentive and the choice of food very good. There was even food prepared at 9 pm on the day of arrival. A free bar each day was a bonus and although the wine was not top quality, spirits and beer were fine, especially as included. Our room on the fourth floor was clean, with towels and soap etc certainly up to 3 star standard. The view from the balcony was over the harbour entrance and sunrise each day a splendour.
There is a swimming pool on a terrace overlooking the sea which could be planted up
to improve, but the land between the sea and the hotel is public and cannot be built on in any way.
Drinking water was best bought and used for tea etc. [take your own kettle] as the local supply is desalinated but still salty to taste.

Porto Colom itself is a quiet town with a delightful harbour,an old town and small market, plenty of cafes and a chance to mix with the locals. Regular buses take you to Porto Cristo, the Caves of Drach or the Sunday market at Felanitx. Coach trips to Palma and Soller are well worth a try. October was warm and dry and certainly a good time to visit. In the end you get what you pay for.

Room Tip: Higher gets a great view, back and one side overlook the sea, other side the hills

“Amazing All-Inclusive Holiday!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 November 2011

We didnt listen to reviews and went with an open mind for a 4 day holiday in May. We flew with Easyjet with a lot of stags and hens heading to Magaluff!! but everything was as expected on a low budget flight.

Our transfer took 1:30hrs and when we arrived we were promptly checked in by wonderful staff and we headed to our clean room. we had an inland view, but could still see the harbour which was gorgeous!! The walks on an evening were pretty special and all of the beaches we found were amazing!! We even went for a run on several occasions. A lot of the local bars weren't open due to the time of the year, but we found a very friendly Karaoke bar, but with the all-inclusive at the hotel we didnt really feel the need to go out to bars on an evening, rather have a walk around the gorgeous harbor.

The staff were very attentive and lovely! My fiance is a big eater and enjoyed all the food all day long, Burgers in the pool bar were GREAT!! I think on one day he ate 3 because they were soo good. We found the hotel very quite and perfect for the couples holiday we were looking for and are planning on returning next year at the same time. There is no entertainment apart from some music on the evening but we were asleep pretty early and didnt feel we missed out on anything,

The beach is a really short but lovely walk away and we found some great little beaches that werent occupied too. A great All Inclusive holiday!!!!

Room Tip: Sea view rooms are incredible, but inland view aren't too much of a disappointment.

“Very good budget hol”

Read lots of bad reviews b4 going so was pleasantly suprised to find hotel was very nice & clean, had some ants in room got spray from reception which cured this, reception, bar & restaurant staff very good (and maids). Pool bar area great for meeting other holidaymakers. On the down side food was not brill you could usually find something to eat tho and drinks in plastic glasses. Snacks at pool bar were nice. Lovely views from hotel. Transfer took 2hrs from airport and 50mins going back. We paid £230 all inc (flights & transfer as well) each for a week. So we got what we paid for. Had a good holiday would go again if the price was right.

Room Tip: Ask for sea view

Having just returned from this Hotel,I have nothing but thanks to Ann/Dale (the Reception Staff)
and all other Staff employed at this Establishment.Porto Colom is an excellent venue for a quite relaxing holiday.
The Food,Cleanliness of rooms and the Pool Bar Barman, were absolutely First Class, will be back again next October.
Not a suitable Resort for those looking for a more lively holiday.

Room Tip: Ask for the 5th Floor facing the Mountains.

“Do your homework before you go?”

Hi, just back from a weeks holiday at the BelleVue Belsana? Where do I start?
We travelled with Jet 2 for the first time and have to say the flight was just a blink,It was the transfer that spoiled an otherwise good transfer.Having found our coach we proceeded to board it with our hand luggage and after selecting a seat we sat back to enjoy our journey to our hotel. We sat on the coach for nearly an hour before we actually set of,we then proceeded on what was the longest transfer in history??? Three and a half hours later we arrived at the hotel,Knackered wasnt the right word for it? To cut it short we got to our room which wasn't too bad and unpacked. That was the end of our peace and quiet for the rest of the week???/
The room next to us had aTv booming through the wall and to top it all off we were then bombarded with the full blast of Rave music from the room below which had just been allocated to a crowd of young men. Needless to say we asked to be moved and that wasn't a problem. We were moved to the fifth floor which seemed quiet when we went to see the room, how wrong were we?At eleven o'clock at night the next room put Tv on and it boomed through the wall until well after midnight.Next morning it was back on again at 7.30?We couldnt win??? Be sure to take ear plugs with u if you go to this hotel as its the only way to get a sleep.Came home cream crackered +went straight to bed?We had an early pickup on returning home + hotel didnt even have a tea machine that we could have got a cuppa from to keep us going,we were abso starved and ended up buying 2 hard baplike thingys + 2 cuppas in airport which cost us £16," NO JOKING"???If u want peace and quiet go elsewhere as this Hotel is very noisy and the walls are paper thin. The Resort itself was quite nice+we had some lovely walks along the Harbour in the evening, but then back to room as there was no entertainment at all. We sat outside one evening on the limited chairs and got eaten alive by Mozzys even though we were covered in insect repellent? Nothing for kids at all here so beware? Glad to get home to get a proper rest and catch up on sleep.Well there it is,make up your own mind as to whether you want a hol here.We never going back

Room Tip: We asked for quiet room on booking, but to be honest I think they would all be noisy
