“excellent value for money 3 star in fab location”

I think the UK nationals who complain can´t be used to being out of the country. For 3 star and the price you pay, you cannot fault it. Pay more money and get better food quality. Set on the point of an inlet, the views are incredible. Staff are friendly. Yes there are Continentals there, get over it. Cliff top setting, pools, gardens etc impressive. Would not recommend it to families with small children (part of its appeal), but anyone else give it a go - get away from the Costas and lager lout English image.

“Customer service second to none!”

This Hotel, its staff, are just lovely! and so hospitable it was over whelming at times. Four Girls at heart went for a weekend break all inclusive. We had read disturbing reviews and were worried that the food would not be up to much but in fact it was lovely and plenty of choice. You could get something to eat and drink at any time of day or night and if the restaurant was closed then they would open it for you and there would be snacks ready for the 'just in case'. This happend to us on two occations, one when we came in late after lots of drinking and needing something to soak it up, the other was the morning of our departure we were leaving early before breakfast time, expecting to get something at the airport, the receptionist just opend up the restaurant and said help yourselves you must eat before your journey, without us even having to ask, how refreshing! With easy access into the sea via some steps ladders, the area is great for Snorkling, without having to cope with sand getting in everything, of course if you like the beach then just around the corner about 500mtr walk there is a beatiful soft sandy beach surrounded by coffee bars/restaurants and souvenier shops with Sun beds and pedlos for hire. Of an evening the Hotel has entertainment but there are music bars around if you want to venture out, an excelent Kareoke bar for the would be singer is within stumbling distance. There is also boat hire available without being a licence holder 200 euro a day which for 4 of you is a bargin for a days entertainment. We can't wait to go back and stay for longer with the kids and fellas but for now we are planning our next girlie weekend trip.

“Amazing Hotel”

I will write this in english so that the 2 english people that where complaining about the 99,9% germans can read this aswell.

First: The hotel has Spanish, German, Chech, Dutch, and English guests, that some people cannot make the difference between these languages because they only speak english i cannot help.

Then the food, i do admit that it wasn´t hilton standard, but then again for +/- 34€ a day & all. Incl. i didn´t really expect that.

Finding a hotel bad cause of the nationalitys and the bacon in the restaurant ist very sad..

This hotel is located directly at the sea-side, it has a sauna, and turkish bath on the roof of the hotel with view over the sea, there is a fittness room there aswell also with sea view.
the garden is beautiful you can relax and enjoy your hollidays,
you can order massage there and, there is a jacussi in the garden aswel.

this hotel has 3 stars !! ( not 5 ) ONLY 3 stars and still a amazing service, and facillities.

So people, if you are open to the world and do not mind spending your hollidays with other nationalitys, if you do not mind eating bacon thats not 100% english style then this hotel is great place to spend your hollidays,

“Will not suggest to anyone”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 June 2010

First of all, the area Porto Colom is quite far from Palma itself, 1.5 hours on bus one way,and i should say that the water on the beach was much warmer in Palma (about 18 C) than in Porto Colom (the nearest beach is about 15 min by foot is very small with extremely cold water)
The hotel is quite clean, 2 pools, tennis corts, pool everething is working
The worst thing in this hotel is food.we were on half board and i'd rather take breakfast only! During our 6 days stay the so called " beef " was just tined meat about 2 times maximum, the chicken wasn't fresh but unfrosen cutlet first time and second over cooked, the fish was ok 1 time and too salted another one, the pasta was just awefull, what was ok to eat is salad iceberg and fresh tomatos, deserts are also horible, juces are full of chemical unnatural taste!
If you are allready booked this hotel then your only chance to eat well is to visit the bar Citrus which is just 1 minute walk from the hotel and they have wonderful lamb shank, beef, half of chicken (all about 7-9 euro very tasty and big portions, and lots of real good fruit coctails for just 3 euro) so we had all our lunches there and sometimes dinners as well
But i have to say that staff is very helpful and friendly
overall the area is veeery quit and boring for young people, even if you go in Cala D'or there are much more thing to do.
I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone
