We stayed at this hotel for a long weekend in October on a H/B basis, the hotel is on a fairly steep hill and access to most rooms is either by lift if you are lucky enough to stay in the hotel, we were given a room/suite which seemed to wind its way up the hill, thank goodness we didnt have heavy luggage as I was tired by the time I got to the room sooo many steps, its definately not for the infirm or buggies. We were greeted very warmly by the host, she was very very pleasant and then shown to our room, it really was lovely like a honeymoon suite with a four poster, view was nice also, the weather when we arrived was pretty cool if not cold and many people had fleeces on with hiking boots so we felt totally alien with our flip flops and tshirts, anyway the weather got better I'm glad to say, I must admit I felt as thought I was in Germany as everything was in German, even down to the menus which I wasnt happy about as I love practicing my Spanish. There is a great national park next door to the hotel and it seemed to be busy with lots of walkers. Hotel food in the evening was excellent 5 star on this. Dont get this hotel confused with the Hotel Cala Cornells, its totally separate but you can see their swimming pool and they have a lovely area that looks out over the sea, this did indeed look a nice hotel and we would maybe think about this one in the future. Apart from that its a 10-15 min walk into town to the beach area and the more touristy part, you do have to walk down a lot of steps and the climb up is horrendous so its definately an area to keep fit I would think but a lovely weekend was had by all. There is a little aviary next door to the hotel with lovely colourful birds which you can see from my pics. The weather really picked up and we sat in the sun it was around 70-75 degrees and people were swimming in the sea, so all in all yes nice hotel.
