We had arranged a four night stay as we were visiting relatives who were staying elsewhere in the resort.

On our arrival we were informed that there was a problem with the pipes in 10 of the rooms, one being our room and there were no others available so we would need to stay in another hotel for the first night of our stay. Now... we had read the previous review for the this hotel on tripadvisor before we left and didn't think too much of it but when we were told the same excuse it was very obvious that this hotel simply overbooks then offers up the same lame excuse to all of its frustrated guests that are informed they have to stay elsewhere on arrival .

As disappointing as it is to be told that you have to then move to another hotel we were shocked to hear that there was no other accommodation available in Paguera and that we were expected to stay in another resort!!! Naturally completely unacceptable especially considering that we were only in the resort to visit relatives that were staying there.

To make matters far worse the overall attitude of the lady on reception was appalling, she seemed shocked that were not happy with the suggestion of staying in another resort and failed to offer any kind of apology, she even became quite aggressive.

It reached the point where my wife was in tears and I was reaching boiling point so we decided enough was enough and took matters into our own hands. Using the Internet PC's in the hotel lobby (which we had to pay for) we managed to find alternative accommodation... in the same resort!! in no more than 5 minutes.

So we stayed at another hotel in Paguera for the first night and returned to Hotel Sunna Park for the remaining three night only to find the hotel was incredibly dated with very basic features and a double bed barely bigger than a single.

Overall our experience with Sunna Park could not have been much worse and I would advise anyone to look to stay elsewhere in this fantastic resort.

We book our holiday in hotel Sunna park, but after arrival to hotel we were informed, that they have 10 rooms out of order, some problem with water and we have to go for 3 nights somewhere else. Later we find out that it was not truth, cause they were doing this with every guest. Everybody had to stay at least one night in other hotel. Overbooking happens, but this was too much. They were changing the stories as well, sometimes it was problem with water to somebody they said they are overbooked.
Overall its nothing special, food could be better quality and the rooms were ok, just the hairdryier could be changed to new one. Also pool should be kept in better condition.
What I like was friendlines of animators and people in the bar :-) reception staff was terrible, especialy the lady that was informing us about moving, she was smiling into your face, like I dont care...
So its not worth it 4 stars...

Recently returned from a weeks stay at Sunna Park. The hotel was clean but very dated and full of very austere German pensioners, which was not very inviting to 2 16 year old boys. We were the only English family at the hotel and the only ones booked as half board everyone else seemed to be all inclusive. The hotel and the resort was busy but tranquil and totally geared up for the Germans, even the entertainment at the hotel was in German, however all staff spoke some degree of English and were mainly polite and freindly. The journey from and to the airport was very long and frustrating as we were last to be dropped off and first to be picked up. We missed meals due to this, however some food was provided but not edible on our arrival, on our departure we were able to get an early cold breakfast. The holiday was not particularly cheap and do not think value for money, however the holiday overall was relaxing and the weather good, the beaches sandy but dirty in parts and the sea clear, however we will not be returning to Paguera in the future.
