Personally, as a family we have been to palma nova 4 times and each time has been excellent, however, this hotel is the best we have stayed in. We stayed half board and didnt really enjoy this side of it. But as a positive, it didnt really matter because there is so many places to eat or to go for a drin, you are definately not confined to the hotel. For me the most positive thing about this hotel was the amazing clean rooms with the excellent sea view. Literally a stones throw away from the beach and its lovely to just overlook the sea and all of the yachts docking etc. The hotel has a massive problem with sunbeds and wouldnt recommend for people with children who are about 9 and above because the pools are quite small in comparison to some of the other hotels around and there is a massive lack of sunbeds if you prefer to sit by the pool. By 7 / half 7 on a morning the sunbeds would all have towels on them, although they say this isnt allowed. Didnt bother us though because we prefer lazing on the beach with the ipod and a couple of good reads! ha. Personally when we came back to the hotel on a night earlier than normal, we didnt think much of the entertainment but theres so much to do so to have a better time please do not sit in the hotel! Overall excellent holiday!!

What a superb location the Hotel is in with the sea either side, you have the perfect view. if looking at the Hotel from the entrance the left side is mostly in the shade while the right side is overlooking the swimming pool and is always sunny. so a bit of a lottery as to what side you get. Ive managed 3 times sunny and 2 in the shade. you can request Thomson when booking but they will as usual ignore it.
the food is not that good and we usually eat out a lot. the evening entertainment is certainly on a par with most Majorca Hotels
there have been improvements since last year as follows
there are notices now saying that any towels left by the selfish lot that hog the Sunbeds all day without using them for more than 1 hour can be removed and handed into reception.. this seemed to have freed up a lot of Sunbeds on our last visit, well done at last Thomson.
the Restaurant staff seem to have a few smiles now and then . what a vast improvement from the usual surly and uncomfortably looks you usually get when shown to a empty table.
there are some nice entertaining places to visit nearby with Rogers Bar having some top class music, Monroes in the back road is also a favorite for Karaoke if that's your thing
I think Palma Nova is a really nice place for all types and away from nearby Magaluf which is mainly for the noisy 18-30 lot
Unfortunately one thing that will now stop us from using Thomson is that anyone traveling from Gatwick can now only fly around 06.00 am which is not only inconvenient for lots living in the London area but a cheek to us Southerners. bad on you Thomson, why did you change our flight choices
Shame that we will now have to look elsewhere as this Hotel really is a Jewel that is waiting to be polished properly

Went to stay for a week on a all inclusive basis with my grandaughter and gt grandson of 18 months. The staff were brililant and nothing was to much trouble. Food was greatand rooms were very clean and staff were great. Bar staff were quick to serve and no long waits. We went there after a week cruising on the Island Escape. Holiday was great and we shall return beleive me great family holiday.Well done all the staff.
