Ive been going to magaluf and palma nova twice a year for the past 18 years. We go every sept and march as part of a lads trip, we are all businessmen not idiots. We stayed in this hotel 3 years in a row on the sept trip. Its the best hotel for views, its very good for round the pool, it suited us for the location, we cant say anything about the entertainment because we didnt watch it. The food was poor, the best food weve had is at the hotel Tordos in Palma nova. The best hotel for location is Royal Beach or trinidad. The massive problem we had with the Hawaii was the staff, ignorant, never smile and very rude. Over the years we have stayed in lots of the hotels, we think the best ones are the trinidad, magaluf park and the Mirlos/Tordos in palma nova. The hawaii is near the bottom of our list but has the best views. The teix is what you pay for. The barracuda is the party hotel with lots of noise.

This hotel was my first choice when i booked 1 week asit was my parnters birthday.

When we first arrived in palma nova it was sunny by time we got to the hotel it was a bit windy but thats because it was high up. going into reception area was spaced out. Handed my paper work to the manager and was told they had fully booked the hotel so me unhappy told them we had booked this hotel and if there was a problem i was contacting the company i booked it with and next min he was like oh theres ur room key.

The have to take a photo of who ur with so when ur at the bar it goes straight off this card we booked allincuive so we were sorted. After finding out room we were shocked to see that it was two bedrooms and a great sea view we were happy must have been cuz i moaned ar recepition we were happy.

The food area is large with lots of tables was just pick one really we are fussy eaters but breakfast was good filled us up for the day and lunch was not that bad and dinner was good. really you pay for what you get sometimes there would be a theme on so you got to try the different foods.

The bar area was a bit small you had to que for a drink and the staff were really freindly tho and the entertainment was really just for the kids and been a couple we never really went out at night as we had read reviews.

The only problem with the hotel is the pool is well about 30 stairs downbelow and going up and down for a drink was pointless as the pool bar was shut and as they state in the holiday books they serve icecream and food inbetween meal times its a lie as we asked so many times to be told no we don't do that.

everyone reads reviews before going on holiday but id say all you can do is go and see for yourself and then write a review about it.

As my parnter did enjoy the hotel and palma nova we did go back to palma but to a different hotel.

My family and I have visited the Hawaii Hotel or the apartments next door now 10 times,We have enjoyed every trip and are currently planning to visit again next easter.
The bar staff are always friendly and the bar extension last year made service faster with little queueing .
Rooms were always tidy and the view from the sea facing rooms is exceptional.
We have seen several entertainment teams over the years but Enrique is a constant staff member and as long as you do not insult his beloved Barcelona he will always be accommodating.
Food has always been pleasant with a wide range of meals available.
WIfi is available in reception for a small fee
spoiler alert for young kids.....

My first 9 visits I was never asked to be panda that dances with the children during the start of the evening entertainment,this year i was asked and it made me extremely delighted.

We have stayed here 6 times and we think you can't get better.IT'S GREAT
