Lack of hot water, for first three days, cockroaches after four days - but this was dealt with ( we think!) quickly.

Worst thing was the sign at reception warning people they would be charged extra if makeup found on towels!!

Stayed here for a week in Oct. Rooms were basic with two single beds which you could move and push together and a small kitchenette all in one. Large bathroom and balcony. Rooms may be basic but they were clean and cleaned regularly. Because of the time of year the hotel was very quiet so there was no noise to be had. And the staff were helpful and quick to fix the problem we had getting into our room. The pool area was large and well kept but the pool itself was very cold. There was no problems with loungers as there was no more that 4 - 6 people lying by the pool during our stay, i'm sure during the summer period it would be hard to get beds. The best thing about the hotel is the location. The back gate which your room key opens leads onto the busy beach strip and you literally have to cross the road to be on the beach. Plenty of restaurants, shops and bars along there. The hotel is also a few mins walk from Magaluf nightlife, though it was quiet enough at this time of the year the hotel is far enough away to be away from any disruption. The hotel was closing on our last night of our holiday so we stayed the final night in the Ca's Saboners Hotel across the road. It was a shock to the system from the quiet to chaos. Brilliant for families as there was loads of kids, entertainers and activities not so great when your looking to chill out by the pool theres music pumping and children running around everywhere. Apartments are large and clean but noisy as the bedroom we had faced the road and traffic was busy we could also hear everything through the walls and especially the apartment above us using any water. Thankfully we only had one night here. Overall Palma Nova was great, lovely beach, nice people and everything you need within easy reach. Spent one day walking around Palma, buses run regularly and take about 30 mins cost about €3 one way and its worth a look. Also recommend the Prince William bar which seems very popular and which isnt far from the front of the hotel for a night of fun, the dj is very good and they do karaoke and good cocktails.

Just returned from a weeks holiday, no complaints at all - very clean rooms, staff friendly and helpful. Pool area lovely and 2 min walk from beach and walking distance to Magaluf strip. Would def recommend and will book again myself for next year. Stayed from 4 - 11 Oct 2011 (nice and quiet time of year so no problems at all in obtaining pool loungers, weather still hot averaging +- 28 degrees ! Brilliant holiday !!

Great location, near everything. Close enought to walk to nightlife in Magalluf but far enough away not to hear it. Clean, quiet and spacious apartment. Had everything we needed. Beautiful beach just a couple of minutes walk away. Had a very pleasant stay. We paid very little for our holiday and definately got value for money. Would stay there again.
