First night we too got sent to another hotel but staff were accomodating, sorted it out immeadiatly and we are the kind of folk who see it as a bonus to be able to stay in two hotels instead of the one we booked. Hotel Comodoro's rooms were ok, clean, the food was ok, quite some choice, (If your a complete pig theres not enough!). Not really a kids hotel as there was only a pool, no kids club, not a hotel for toddlers (travelled with 4 year old). On the plus side, it's right on the beach, literally, so if you like the beach your happy. Also Magalluf is 5 mins away and we did hear quite a lot of noise at night time with passing drunks etc. I read comments about the bar man Nelson, they discourage you getting more than two drinks at a time as its a lot of all inclusive folk who just want to get hammered. I can see that greedy people would get annoyed at this policy. Hotel entertainment was dire, almost boring, I would say even a person in their 60's would only be entertained after having a few alchoholic drinks. I would stay here again for a few nights, but no more than 3-4. Good location if you want to go to Magaluf and get a reasonably clean hotel, bad if you want entertainment as all inclusive ties you into thinking you want to get you moneys worth.

We also stayed at this hotel and found it to be dirty especially in the dining room. Chairs were covered in stains and the food was very bland. Rooms are very basic and dowdy. Nothing to do in the evning at this hotel and as for it being a four star I would give it a 2 star rating as it needs a complete overhaul.

arived at about 10pm and was pleased to find recepition was warm and welcoming, they even had a table set up for a late supper just for us ! rooms are a bit dated but who really cares? they are very clean, comfy double bed, fantastic view, free lockable safe area built into the fridge to keep passports ect, ther was a slight wiff every now and then from the drains in bathroom, staff are great and friendly, bar manager is a bit on the funny side about getting more than 1 drink at a time, the pool area is great apart from the freakin massive tree on the street that kills almost all the sun for half the day but to be fair the hotel is right on the beach i mean as in you walk out the pool door your 10 steps off the perfect sand so again who really cares ? !

Stayed at the Comodoro for 4 days, lads holiday, so didnt expect too much. Hotel is a little dated but clean, carpet on stairs is threadbare, food very basic, not a lot of variety[so loses a star]. reception staff very helpful but Nelson the bar manager was very difficult to deal with.[1 drink per person at night with 2 people in queue was ridiculous] Beer was Estrella so no problem there.
We went in Mid October but did not expect a residential home setting, but we still had fun in the strip whisch is only a 2 minute walk away. The best part of the hotel was the beautiful view from the balcony onto the bay.

To generalise; Ok for a short break only!!!
