iv stayed in this hotel every september for about 4 years and all i can say is that it is great, the food is lovely, its located in a good place and the rooms are nice and clean.

I've stayed in the Mirlos several times over the last 10 years. I suspect that in July and August it'll be far too crowded for comfort, but travelling in September and staying for a couple of weeks that's less of a problem. It's pleasantly full.

Food is fine, rooms are clean and adequate and the staff good. The pool around the back of the Mirlos is less crowded than the pool between the two hotels and benefits from some daytime shade which is more than welcome. Still plenty of sunny spots around it for those with leather skins.

Evening entertainment is good of it's kind. Obviously, it can be a bit patchy. If you prefer something more sophisticated Lady Diana's bar is a couple of minutes walk with an excellent resident small band nd dancing. Don't let the name put you off. That's also a good place for a special meal one evening.

The hotel's only a couple of minutes from the beach and from Palma Nova's shops. Magaluf is in easy walking distance, but far enough that you're not troubled by Magaluf's crowds of drunken kids. Don'r see too many of those in September anyway. If you hire a car there's enough on site parking. Beach is pleasant and safe - free to use unless you need to rent a sunbed and parasol. You probably will.

If you go expecting a 4 star hotel you'll be disappointed. If you go expecting a good three star you won't be.

We were put here on an unexpected hotel move by our travel company. Lovely place though especially for families. The evening entertainment was good one night then terrible the next-we are a couple though so walked in to Magaluf instead those nights. Difficult to get a seat in the evening though. Food was fine as were the drinks. If we were a family we would definitely return, as a couple? Not our first choice but wouldn't complain.

The staff were pleasant at the check in desk - and that's where the fun ended! It was very basic to say the least and the corridors looked institutional. The rooms very basic - beds uncomfortable - in need of an update - the 80's came to mind! The bar staff looked fed up all the time. As for the restaurant - if you can call it that - it was little more than a school canteen with no style at all. Both pools were clean but very cramped but one pool was in the shade the majority of the day because of the location of the building. It was like Butlins Abroad.
