The road and the environment becomes more beautiful how closer you come to the L'Hermitage (Orient) Hotel. It lies in the middle of the mountains and suddenly there is the parking of the Hotel. A good and big parking that is private and without fee.

The check in by Hotel L'Hermitage is fantastic, the first contact is overwhelming and give you the feeling you are really welcome. My wife and I first became information about the Hotel and get our key of the room. The friendly old man (don’t know his name anymore) at the reception brings us to the room and he shows us how things work. The great surprise was the table with fruits and a bottle of red wine made in the area. They were of the house en we both enjoyed it very much.
After putting the luggage in the room the reception staff let us see the whole hotel with the facilities, this service was very kind and well explained.

The room was nicely decorated in the old Mallorcan style and while it was old it looked very good, no rubbish. Also the bathroom was like the old style but it was all so clean and well maintained that it was better of most modern hotels. The air-conditioning was perfect and did not make any noise so it can be used during the night. The room had a flat screen tv with nothing interesting on but who wants to watch tv with over 20 degrees in the evening. Slippers and a bathrobe is standard for the room and there were some good toilet amenities that were replaced when they are almost empty. The room was also spotlessly clean and made us feel comfortable.
On the big terrace in front of the room which were four rooms in a block was over viewing the mountains and in the evening you will enjoy the sounds of different animals during a good glass of wine. Although the terrace had not that much privacy as there was only a small fence it didn’t disturb us any moment and we really enjoyed it.
Only one minor complain are the beds, they could be much better but also worse by experience.

The breakfast was in front of the hotel and the ambiance was amazing, the old mill did really look great. There was plenty of choice for everybody and the products were of high quality. On request you can get baked eggs the way you want. They serve it to the table.

We weren’t able to enjoy their restaurant so can’t say anything about that. The restaurant is situated in the mill self and is really beautiful.

The spa and the pool are small but looks enough for the amount of guests there are. Also they both look really clean and comfortable, we didn’t use them because of time.

As we had some problems with paper work we should use the internet and printer. As there was no printer with the computer for the customers I could use theirs for printing, they really help you In case of a problem, very kind.

We really enjoyed this hotel very much and the staff is really great and that really helps to enjoy a good vacation. We can highly recommend this hotel to others but if you don’t like the silence and the old looking rooms then stay away.

We really come back when we’re on the island again.
