It was my first time abroad when i stayed at this hotel, so i didn't really know what to expect. I'd heard lots of stories of hotels being dirty or people's rooms getting broken into so i was a little worried to say the least.
However, Isla Porrassa turned out to be a brilliant little hotel.
It's situated right at the bottom of the strip, with BCM's about a three to five minute walk round the corner. ( If that. )
To get to the beach, you just cross the road, walk down a little lane and you are on the beach.
Rooms were clean, but maybe a little small. Having said that though, the price was also small so that definetly ISN'T a complaint, just a observation.
The only problem we had was when we arrived, the toilet handle was broken. We reported it and it was repaired the same day which was great.
All rooms have built in safe's but you have to travel to the head office to aquire a key, which isn't exactly near the hotel. But we walked there so it isn't a long way away. There is a map of how to get to the head office on the notice board by the stairs.
Isla Porrassa has NO reception, the only people you will see who work there are the cleaners. But this never turned out to be a problem.
It is noisy on a night because you are bang on the strip but you could still get to sleep no problem.
Isla Porrassa is a great little hotel in a great location, with a great price too.
I have no complaints with this hotel and would stay there again no problem.
P.S. Try and get a sea view apartment!!
