me and my mate where at this hotel in the first week of september 2011. we had booked AI before we went i checked the reviews and what the hotel had to offer. it said that snacks were ava by the pool through out the day, which they were not, there was only drink available, and even when you wanted a drink you were only aloud one drink per person. being in the hospitality industry i understand these are ways of cutting waste costs, but is it that difficult to not give someone 2 or 3 drinks to save their whole party having to go to the bar. there was one guy called charlie who was a nice enough guy who was pleasant and had a chat with, as for mcgeell, he was a grumpy and depressing, looked as though he wanted to put bricks in his pocket and through himself in the pool. ...as for the food... i only made it down for breakfast once (im 23 obviously i only made breakfast once lol) there was a good selection, buffet room was full of choices from bacon, sausage, egg, beans and toast to cereals and fruits and orange juice etc, lunch i would say was more basic, there were desserts chips and a few other things.... dinner time was the same there was fish, chicken, rice and pastas... the rice was really good.

as i went in september the pool area was farely quiet an was usually able to get a lounger no problem, the pool area was clean and tidy with music playing through out the day. i cant say i made the evening entertainment.

the rooms were nice, not to basic but has everything you need and its clean maids were round every other day, i think the sheets only got changed once and clean towels every 2nd day (i think)

all in all i would recommend this hotel to people as i had a pleasant stay there, i could'nt complain after all it was an 'AI' for £320 for a week. was thinking about going back there again this year, providing they sort out the drinks situation and they snacks by the pool.

Trvelled as a couple. Not for the british. All inclusive is waste of time, There were no snacks, food was awful and you were only allowed one drink per person.If you wanted a beer you were only allowed a small plastic cup full at a time. On saying that room only would be fine. Rooms quite nice and cleaned every day. Not many english there.Entertainment useless.

just returned after spening 10 nites at the don juan, the hotel was nice, the rooms were reasonale but the food was absolutly shocking, the chicken wasnt cooked neither were the chips. the food was always cold n didnt look nice at all, what i tasted i wouldnt feed it to my dog. the bread rolls had green mould inside it, and there were cats roaming through the eating area. the bar staf were ignorant, unpleasent to talk to n not usefull at all. Everytime i tried to ask the receptionist for directions she just didnt have a clue bout anything. me and my fiance went 10 nites all exclusive n spent a fortune on food cos we had to go and eat out. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL!!!!!!!!!! SHOCKING!!!!!!!!!! i couldnt wait to get home after the 2nd nite. The walls must be paperthing as me and my fiance heard every single argument all over the hotel n that was while we were in bed.

i went early september and had a wicked holiday i loveeedd it! hotel was nice, the rooms were cleaned every day. i was all inclsive if iw ent again i would go sc breakfast was disgusting akk swimming in oli. you could always eat somthing at lunch and dinner but it wasnt the best we went out to eat for breakfast every day and lunch and dinner twice. the night life was wicked was a 10min walk to the strip and 5 to the beach only 5euros in a cab from the hotel to strip. i wouls dtay in this hotel again just not all inclusive! some staff were moany but then had some lovely ones! the hotel was quiet could always sleep got woke up twice but your in magaluf what do u exspect!
