My wife and I booked a late holiday through Thomas Cook, as we are in our 60's we were aware that Magaluf can be a bit party mad, but the Location of this hotel is well away from the "strip". Our room was self catering and we booked separate double bedroom, the cooking facilities were a two ring electric cooker, with the usual cutlery and pots and pans,

The first thing that we noticed was the bad smell, which I traced to under the bin unit which turned out to be a discarded eggshell, which had been missed by cleaning staff, the phone in room didn't work so I went down to reception and they arranged for cleaner to come up and was surprised when i pointed it out to her.(maybe she had no sense of smell) we were there for 1 week and lifts were a bit sporadic whether they worked or not, the door lock sometimes decided not to worrk, in all this is no more than a 2 star hotel, but was quiet unlike some comments I read

Hotel is in desperate need of renovation. The décor and furniture are old and worn. My bedroom for three people was absolutely tiny! The cupboard door was hanging off, the bathroom flooded, the shower was so small you couldn't move! Everytime we had a shower we had to cover the bathroom floor in towels to stop the whole room flooding! The food was the same every night and was extremely mediocre. Couldn't sleep at nights as there was constant music blaring (despite there being restrictions on this)...The level below my balcony was covered in cigarette ends and smashed bottles. Do not recommend...

Holiday here with sisters large family was enjoyable, pools great, beach superb and safe for the kids. Building needs some updating. Room was clean and service was fine.
In the evening there is loads for the kids to do but for a single uncle like myself, you need to get a bus into the heart and there you will find more nightlife.
Highly recommend for families.

Firstly Rooms were MASSIVE! and our balcony view was AMAZING!. overlooking our pool and overlooking the full beach!. could not fault that!
Towels didnt get changed that often but all we needed to do was ask!

Safe had a code rather then a key which was better and alot safer!

Pool area music was always great and got you in the mood for night time! pool could of done with getting cleaned a few times but the beach was just down some stairs!

location was great could not fault it!

Full of Fun Lively Teens! Would deffo go back!
