“Hotel was spotless, had a perfect location and hotel wasnt full of idiots! - Group of 18 year old lads”

Stayed in the Sol Trinidad from 03rd July 2011 - 10th July 2011 - Group of 11 lads aged 18.

We originally wanted to stay at the Sol Guadaloupe which had fantastic reviews, but Thomson persuaded us to stay at Sol Trinidad. (Took advantage of us as they knew it was our first group holiday)
After booking the holiday and later reading the earlier reviews of the Sol Trinidad, I was a bit worried about staying here and was constantly regretting the fact i should have not listened to the pushy travel agent and should just booked the Sol Guadaloupe.

But once we arrived, im actually glad that we stayed at the Sol Trinidad.
The only two things our group wanted from our hotel in Magaluf was cleanliness and location - and honestly, this hotel is perfect at those two aspects.

The hotel, without a doubt has the BEST location in Magaluf - you are literally nearby everything you could possible want to have access to - beach, strip, BCM, water park, supermarket, places to eat (McDonalds directly opposite hotel). This was great for our group who just wanted to chill out in the day and party all through the night. -

The hotel really was spotless - rooms and pool area cleaned every day.

We also liked how the hotel was close to everything, but was never "noisy" and how it wasn’t full of chavs as you usually find in other Magaluf hotels. - Hotel also felt safe as there was a security guard on nights.

The only bad points with this hotel where..
* No Air-conditioning - the fans just circulate hot air - we always left the balcony doors open. The bathroom was unbearable to be in for more than 2 minutes because of the heat!
* Pool Area - pool area was rubbish as its too small - better off at the beach as its close to the hotel which is where we spent most of our days although the indoor pools not too bad.
*Evening Meals - breakfasts at the hotel where really nice, but the food at evening meals didn’t have a wide variety.

If you’re going to Magaluf - group of girls / lads and you want a clean hotel with great location then you really must consider the Sol Trinidad !

We will be returning again either summer 2012 / 2013

“family fun”

as a family with 4 young children we when in late september 2011 we wanted somewhere centrally located so Sol Trinidad was the obvious choice so close to the beach and within walking distance from the strip and everything else was really close by . entertainment was excellent and the staff were lovely. there was lots of choice for even the pickiest of eaters and believe me i know as my son and husband are picky eaters. The day time entertainment staff were a laugh a minute and were an instant hit with my older children. Throughly enjoyed this holiday and am booking up for next year as soon as i have the chance as going to take my mother too.

Room Tip: the higher the floor the better the view from balcony

“FANTASTIC TIME IN MAGALUF & SOL TRINIDAD!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 November 2011

Went here on the 15th July 2011 - 22nd July. Had an absolutely fantastic week! Booked this hotel last minute, went with my best friend on a bed and breakfast basis. Sol trinidad turned out to be perfect! Arrived in the morning had a quick check in, asked for a fridge because I had read reviews before I went that you had to hire one. Can't remember how much it was but was much less than I expected! We got the lift up to our room and the fridge arrived seconds later. Our room didn't have a fantastic view, we were on the level which looked out onto a roof and over to Hotel Samos across the way. Was a bit annoyed at first that we didn't have a spectacular sea or pool view, but at nights it was brilliant! We could wave/chat to people up above and in the other hotel, never mind the lazers pointing over! So was all a bit of fun.
The room was fine, standard hotel room, double bed, desk, mirror etc. The room has a ceiling fan, great if you lie right under it but other than that you are sweatin your make up off all over the place! But you aren't in your room during day and at night best thing to do is just go out on the balcony and cool off! Bath/shower was fantastic, very clean. Cleaners came every day probably bar Sunday or something. But they were very nice and always offered new towels and made the bed.
Breakfast was also great with sausages and the like. Didn't make it up for breakfast much..! Swimming pool area was just alright, have to get down early to get a good sunbed because there are areas that don't get the sun all day. Seemed to be some activities going on which entertained younger ones and some of the guys. Bar area fantastic and at night as we walked through to go out it seemed there was a lot of good entertainment :)
In terms of the area, COULDN'T ASK FOR MORE. Walk out of the hotel mc donalds is across the road, pizza hut to your left and burger king/kfc about a 1 minute walk. It is near other hotels sucha as mallorca rocks, fiesta jungla etc. Beach is literally a 2 minute walk and there are plenty of bars along the way and souvenir shops to each side of you. Very safe walking home at night (this was something i worried about). BCM is a 3 minute walk if you turn to the right and right again as you come out of hotel. The strip of main bars which we often went was about 5-10 minutes depending how eager you are to get drinking lol. Alot of great places there.
All in all would definitely recommend Magaluf, beaches are lovely, a lot of great nightlife! Many people think its not a very nice place to go and it's all about "you know what" but myself and my friend just wanted to have a good holiday together without it being too mental and we throughly enjoyed ourselves! Really really nice place especially for younger people :)

Having been to this Hotel in October many times we knew what to expect! Great position, great staff and very clean throughout. Wide variety of good cooked food to suit all tastes. Good pool area with the bonus of an indoor pool. Hotel very close to beach.

Room Tip: Avoid rooms overlooking Cala Blanca- McDonalds opposite..can be noisy during the night.

“Ideal, Perfect”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 October 2011

i stayed in Sol Trinidad in July 2011, after Hotel Samos 'over booking' our room!...
Being three 18 year old girls getting trasfered to a different hotel we new nothing about at the last minute was VERY upsetting!

However, staff were very comforting and helpful!
The pool area was quite small, however caught all of the sun and had FAB entertainment of which everyone joined in!. (if you didnt get a sun bed the beach was a 2 minute walk down the road)

Rooms were average size, for 3 girls in magaluf we always want a bigger room anyway. sheets and towels got changed all the time and our balcony was in a great location!

The best thing about this hotel is the location! its away from the busy end of the strip (so no loud music at night) but the main bars were liturally round the corner!! everything was so near by you didnt need to walk or travel anywere!!
I am deffo going back here next year without a doubt! PERFECT
