mid week of the holiday my mates and i were out for the night clubbing! we cam back to find our room door had been tampered with therefore we could'nt put our key in the key hole. We went down to the reception and tlod the lady owner what was wrong, she gaves us a spare key and told us to try it again. The key did not work so we went back down to tell her but she wouldnt answer her door. Therefore to get into our room we had to kick the door open. in the morning we told the owner what had happened but she choose not to belive us, she gave us a 90 euro bill and told us a joiner would come and fix the door the same day but the joiner did not turn up till half hour before we checked out which was 2 and a half days later, so we had to stay in our room for that period incase our stuff got stolen.
I would never go back to this appartment the stupid cow. learn english

I wanted to book a cheap hotel, for a girlie week away! I was expecting a dump to be fair... with what we paid! (next to nothing) but no... it is actually quite nice! I think its a 1 or 2 star hotel, but i would have put it at a 3! it was clean, and very spacious! it was in the perfect location! 1 minute away (if that) from magaluf strip! close to the beach, FANTASTIC! no pool... but you can use other pools around which is good!

I would deffo stay here again! been to magaluf 4 times, and think this is the best location i have ever stayed in!

I stayed here with 3 friends in Jun 06 and it was fantastic. I must admit when my friend booked it with teletext and looked at where we were staying i thought oh my god what a dump (im a travel agent you see!) and when the taxi pulled up outside its located ontop of a shop, infront of a bar and next to a strip club!!!! we went in and the owners do not speak much english at all but you can kind of communicate by hand movements!!!! they gave us the key and we went to the apartment and it was huge!!! its basic but its clean, we werent planning to cook at all but the fridge did the job for our drinks! the beds are comfy, layout is lounge 2 singles and bedroom 2 singles, smallish bathroom. balcony was quite big and because of the layout of the apartments the all face the streets of magalluf. its great to see when to go out because when it gets busy.....then its time!!!!! 5 mins from BCM about 6 clubs located within 1 minute and pubs and bars within 1 minute, perfect for that outrageous clubbing holiday!!!! beach is 3 mins down the road and the blue bar next to the beach is amazing. the owner was friends with george best and theres pictures of them all over!!! shopping nearby, indian restaurant opposite apartments. you seriously do not need to go far at all!!! there is no pool here or bar but you are allowed to use another hotel for thos facilities.

i had a fantastic week and recommend this place for everyone who wants a budget break to SHAGALLUF!!!!!!!!!

The Kensington Apartments were brilliant! So much better than I expected. The room description didn't do the rooms justice at all. We had 4 properbeds in the apartments despite the description saying you get two sofa beds and two beds. This was the same in all the apartments (we had 3 between us).

Each apartment had one bedroom with two beds in, and then two beds in the living room, It was VERY spacious with the kitchennette in a sort of sperate room and a large bathroom with a great shower which has a small bath at the bottom. There was plenty of kitchen equipment including a toaster a great fridge and a bottle opener to our delight! We also had a really big balcony with almost a seaview, although it is right opposite the Poco Loco nightclub which makes it quite noisy but most people who go here will expect that and will be up until 6am anyway! Plus the seperate bedroom hardly hears any noise and we all moved into that room with our mattresses.

The location is PERFECT with Magaluf Beach a minute walk away on the right and the other beach within meters on the left. The apartemnts are right in the middle of everything so you've got a shop with all the essentials below, a take-away opposite for chips on the way home and all the nightclubs and bars just round the corner. There's also the more attractive and quiet Palma Nova just a few minutes walk away. I'd definately recommend the Kensington Apartments for young people who want to have fun and don't mind a bit of noise at night. Excellent value for money!
