The small inland roads through the inner secret beauty of Majorca lead us to this place. We stayed for 4 nights and from here we could reach any place of Majorca within one hour. The place is a traditional "finca" very carefully and beautifully styled up. The atmosphere is very harmonic and relaxed. Very comfortable and well equipped rooms/apartments. Sineu nearby is absolutely worth a visit. Great breakfast/food.

If you are looking for a peaceful holiday away from it all then I would highly recommend this. Set in the centre of the Island amidst beautiful rustic farming country with lovely views to the mountains in the west. We stayed in one of the self contained apartments with private balcony and all the facilities one would expect and very clean and adequately spacious. The owners are very friendly and helpful and speak perfect English if you have any trouble speaking Spanish. They offer typical Mallorquin meals which can be delivered to your apartment if you so request or alternatively once a week served up in their courtyard restaurant. We ate there one night and it was a very enjoyable experience. The pool is a good size and well maintained in a lovely situation. It was generally very peaceful there - we had the place to ourselves one of the days we left travelling out of our itinerary. Sa Rota is situated about 3 to 4 miles from the small town of Sineu which is the main settlement in this part of the Island. It is a nice place to pop in to from time to time to have lunch or a leisurely evening meal with some nice restaurants being situated there. The main market in Mallorca also takes place there every Wednesday morning and should not be missed. All in all you should have a wonderful holiday if you choose Sa Rota.

We have now stayed here twice; once in 2003 (in a suite) and again in 2006 (in a house). Both times we have been impressed by the standard of the rooms, the impecable and personal service given by its charming owners, and the solitude and beautiful surroundings. Its situation is stunning, the pool is very large and clean, and the breakfast is typically Mallorquian and a great way to start your day. Dinner (on request) is a treat, and we can't recommend Sa Rota enough. We booked direct throught their site, sa-rota.com. Whether you are staying for a few nights or a week, Sa Rota is perfect as it is centrally placed. We will definitely return.
