If you want a holiday in hot and sunny Majorca, where you can learn German language in addition to Spanish, and learn all about German food, and indeed eat, predominantly German cuisine, and watch German satellite TV in your bedsit, or, indeed you are German, then this will be the hotel for you. Sadly it was not for my family with 2 teenage daughters, (we are a meat and 2 veg kind of crew) who were disappointed with the very repetetive meals (only twice in 7 days did we encounter red meat at dinner, once a burger and the second time veal). To be fair there was an abundance of fruit and veg at all times including breakfast.
I must also point out that the staff were all kind and helpfull and our apartment was spotless and cleaned with fresh towels provided each day etc.
Another point to note; the air conditioning to the apartments is switched off each day for several hours before 2pm, so you may need to adjust any requirement you have for a siesta. I did enquire as to why this should be but have yet to recieve an answer.
Colonia Saint Jordi is most definitely a beach/pool holiday location and I would recommend car hire to explore otherwise teenage boredom quickly sets in as there are few local ameneties/shops.
We love Majorca and will return, not to this hotel/destination though.
