the hotey is nice , great staff , I am not that intrested often of this aspect but evreyone at the hotel made us fell like we were among friends . the room were nice , a bit old , but clean and spacious . the brefkast was o.k. , not to many things to chose from but what they had was very tasty . a nice hotel over all

little unfriendly at start but seemed to warm to us as we stayed longer.
not too impressed with the thin walls as we had a young couple next to us who didnt get in till early hours then had loud s** after a few nights of this knocked on wall back that sorted it out
Food not up to much but it was normal for a buffet really.
room always cleaned and towels changed if you wanted.
we had a street side room but you could still see the beach from the balcony
All in all the hotel was what we wanted a good base on the beach front in a nice resort not too British either.

Five night s,half board and all for 225 Euros. What could one expect?
Well.....

Positives:, price, location, food (breakfast included bacon and two varieties of sausage as well as a good varied spread, evening meals also fine), BBC1 & Sky News (the rest Spanish & German)location, Close enough to the airport (without sound problems), Free WiFi (computer in the lounge with internet free of charge usage), Pool table (1euro a game)Clean enough with clean towels daily, Airco (works on presence in room with key), shower (piping hot water at all times of the day with very good pressure).

Lesser points: Parking difficult (advise would be opposite hotel next to port) though free of charge (hotel has no own parking), noise (from neighbours, walls are indeed limited on isolation), preferences on booking ( had booked a double bed, checked in with two single beds and not the type to push together witout splitting apart).

Conclusion: Would you return? Yes most definetly and also recommend it to friends.

Tip: If you're interested in car hire we boked a car from Centauro prior to the trip for 68 euros for five days all iclusive. They will offer for 20 euros additional cover for tyres, under carriage and glass however the cover in the basic is very good. Also, they mention they charge for a full tank on return though best discuss this. We tanked and returned full and were not charged though agree before hand. Our vehicle was a Fita 500 (White, wife loved it). Additional driver Euro 9. We travelled to all four corners of the island.

We had a few days break in the B Q Anfora Hotel in May and would definately recommend. We had a room on the top floor, the hotel is only four storeys high, and beautiful views over the bay. The room was very clean and breakfast was self sevice buffet and first class.
Can Pastilla is a very quiet area where the hotel is situated and has restaurants rather than bars and pubs. Only a ten minute very pleasant walk along the seafront will take you to a bit more lively area.
Very easy to get to from the airport, just get the number 21 bus at a cost of 2 euro's and get off at the first stop by hotel Linda and from there it it a two minute walk towards the sea front to the hotel.
If you are looking for a quiet peaceful break, this is the place to go.
Will definately be going back.
