Stayed here for one night after arriving on a late flight as hotel on bus route from airport.
Room spacious but v tired furnishings/decor.
Breakfast in Hotel Gala across the road - poor choice & poor quality of food.
Very close to beach.
Cheap & fine for one night but if you were staying for longer I think you could find a better hotel with better facilities for not much more money.

The Miraflores is a slightly shabby hotel near (but not quite on) the sea front at Can Pastilla. The higher floors at the front have reasonable sea views though there are some buildings between you and the view. The entrance (up 5 or 6 steps) and small reception desk are grubby and uninspiring; the ancient lift was functional but not terribly clean. Our room (on the top/5th floor) had a reasonably good sea view, but was very shabby - cables taped to the wall, and a very stale smell (which I assume was cigarette smoke). After buying and emptying a large canister of air freshner into the room, it was a lot better.

Breakfast was provided across the road at the Hotel Gala (under the same management), and was more than adequate. The bar, lounge and other public rooms at the Miraflores seemed to be unused at this time of year.

If you pay the cheapest rate, accept a non sea-view room and don't mind shabby public areas, maybe it's a reasonably tolerable cheap bed for the night. But if you pay extra for a sea view, breakfast and air conditioning (essential even in September), then I would have thought that there were other better value places in Can Pastilla.

One footnote. I noticed that all the rooms below the 5th floor had new doors; perhaps the rooms had been refurbished too - I don't know. But our room on the top floor had an original door and had definitely seen better days. Avoid.

We stayed for 4 nights at Hotel Miraflores. Staff is very friendly and the hotel is somewhat worn out but clean and well managed. Very good and roomy beds and a fairly well functioning bathroom with plenty of hot water. Ask for a room with a seaview and you get a nice balcony with afternoon sun. The hotel has busstops for Palma (line 15 and 30), Arenal (line 15) and the airport (line 21) just outside the door. Breakfast, which is in Hotel Gala just opposite the road, is a huge buffet with a bit of everything and a nice variety of bread (even wholemeal), which is rare in Southern Europe. You must expect quite a lot of traffic noise as the hotel is on a busy corner, but that is the price for a central location. Only 50 m to a beaufiful beach. Most hotels in Can Pastilla are very close to the beach and you can easily find one that has more quiet surroundings, but we found that this hotel was very sufficient and good value for money. No parking possibilities whatsoever.

just come back from 10 days in Miraflores and i have to say that was fantastic, good service,nice staff, great room with sea view.
It's not a 5* hotel but has everything tht we needed.
The swimming pool has very quiet and the beach just 2 min away.....very warm water,and long beach.
We went on a train that takes along side de bay.
lots of things to do and to see.
Aeroport 10 min away,
We going back next year.
