It's been a long time coming, but if it helps you decide whether or not to go to this horrible hotel then it will be worth it. I have to say, the photos on the internet look very nice and does not give you the feel of this VERY shabby outdated hotel. Where shall I start, oh yes, reception, the reception is fine, walk through to the back of the hotel and you will be sure to feel that it gets shabbier the further you walk back (and I am not talking Shabby Chique). The 1 bedroom apartments do not get a sea view, we had the view of a wall, some rubbish and oil talk and the road which was very noisy. The bathroom was outdated and the tiles had been painted over. The kitchen had tiles from the1970's most of which were chipped, so was the kitchen units and the microwave had a melted bottom. The fridge never had a door on the freezer compartment as it was missing. The kettle didn't work either. The pull out bed that our daughter had to sleep on was so filthy, it had stains and sand all over it, so she couldn't sleep there. The switches and plugs in the bedroom and front room were also very dangerous and hanging off the wall. One night we were asleep and heard a scream and thud, we thought that someone had fallen from their balcony, but when we went to reception in the morning they told us that one of the panes of glass had fallen from one of the top balconys to the floor beneath us. I complained to lowcostholidays.com and after about 8 weeks they replied to say I should have contacted them at the time and they would have moved me. The holiday was completely ruined by this awful apartment. We went to Portugal a few months later in a 3 start property which was far more superior than this awful awful place. I wouldn't got here if you paid me to do so, it was by far the worst place I have ever stayed in.
