Eight of us went for a long weekend and shared two apartments. Whilst it is not the most modern of hotels it offers extremely good value for money and a fairly quiet location. One of these apartments used to be owned by the family of one of our group in the 1980s when they were considered pretty hot property but as with everything the vibe has moved on. We found the apartments comfortable for four of us and the kitchenette was adequate for stocking our supplies and putting together the odd breakfast snack. The views across the bay are fantastic and a great place to relax on the balconey and watch the sun go down. Bars and restaurants are within easy walking distance. The pool area is a little sterile but not unpleasant. The pool bar was pretty reasonably priced and we managed to while away several hours in the sun although it was late September. The price we paid for these apartments was ridiculously reasonable and I would recommend them to anyone looking for a bargain break but with clean, comfortable and quietly located acommodation. I would return.

Nothing special about this hotel, very dated, fake flowers in reception area had a very thick layer of dust on them which made me worry about the cleanliness of our room. We had no view (wasn't expected but would have been nice), size of the apartment was large enough, furniture is very very dated, hard and old, we had two twin hard beds slid together but didn't stay together (so much for a romantic weekend), bed was hard and bedding looked quite old. Bedroom was clean, some mold in the shower and we woke up to a fest of ants in our kitchen (threw away our food). Wouldn't stay there again! Location is good near the sea and beach right out front, lots of restaurants and shops on the streets and 7 km drive to Palma. Considering the state of our room and how dated the furniture was, service was excellent, breakfast was basic but satisfying.

We stayed at the Roc Portonova Apartments for a week in mid September and for what we paid, we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. The apartments are right at the end of the bay in Palmanova so great if you want a quiet getaway away from the hustle and bustle, but still within easy walking distance of Palmanova and Magaluf. We were also a stones throw away from a lovely section of the beach.

The apartment was huge - we had two double bedrooms, a massive living area and good sized kitchen. The apartment was really clean and despite having two singles pushed together the beds were comfortable. We were lucky to be on 2nd floor in our part of the building as it meant that we could see the sea from our balcony but for lower floors the view would have been the back of a restaurant.

Pool area was immaculate and quite for most of the time we stayed. The bar staff were so friendly and the animacion guy wasn't intrusive or pushy and we actually really enjoyed his daily games!

Reception staff were great, particularly David who gave us loads of advice on where to eat, getting transport etc.

The only reason I have given 4 out of 5 is because the security in the rooms could have been better, but even that wasn't so bad.

For a good value break in Majorca I'd highly recommend these apartments.

Very polite and friendly, best 3 star hotel so far! very clean. clean towels every other day. nice food AT POOLSIDE BAR. lots of bars, resturants and activites to visit close by or avarge 10 to 20 min waliking distance. avarge taxi fare is 5 to 6 euros to magulff or i.e pirates show or western water park.
would return again but not taking children for entertainment.
