One week. from 20th October
We are a retired couple and normally have Villa holidays. This holiday was a last minute decision as our son ,his partner and our 3 year old grandson had booked a month or so ago. We went as a surprise baby-sitting service.
After previously reading reviews on Trip Advisor we emailed the hotel after booking requesting a quiet room with sea view. Had an immediate reply from Filipe saying he would try to meet our requirements on arrival. He more than achieved his promise. Room 319 on third floor was quiet with a distant sea view and large south facing balcony.
Rooms were clean beyond our expectations with comfortable beds and sofas. Clean crockery and adequate utensils for most occassional domestic needs. Towels changed almost every day, All staff helpful anf friendly EXCEPT FIRST CHOICE lady rep.
Quiet area with easy walk to town with plenty of good quality restaurants. Recommend FERNANDOS. Superb food at good price with live singing duo. Dont be put off by the appearance. Its NOT as expensive as it looks. Two of us had 3 course meal with wine and HUGE Tia Marias for just over 50€.
Breakfast in hotel we felt was overpriced at 7€ . Hotel restaurant food good quality albeit limited selection.
Pool area clean but water cool. Kids seem to like it.
Overall would highly recommend to families and couples.Good value for money with clean accomodation is not always easy to find. Worth another * in anybodies listings. Cannot comment on entertainment as its not our scene. Prefer seeking restaurants and trying different alternatives. Recommend a 30 minute stroll to the marina. See how the other half live. Expensive boats.

We came here for 2 weeks at the beginning of October & can't fault the place at all. Pretty much what everyone else says! Apartments are very spacious & very clean! Balcony is large & caught the afternoon sun which was lovely! Pool area was great, our little girl loved the water fountains (although terrified of the purple triangle one!!). The kids pool came up to her chest (she is 2) so wasn't too deep & meant I didn't have to get freezing if she wanted to swim! Staff are friendly & helpful when needed. I don't have any complaints about the apartments at all. I would definitely come back here. The area is quiet as in a residential road & just a short walk up to the main town which offers many different bars, restaurants & Burger Kinf (if needed!). All I would say is the amount of dog poo everywhere is horrible but obviously this has nothing to do with the Apartments!! Great holiday all in all!!

We booked a last minute break at the Cala d'or Playa for a week from 13 October 2011. What a fantastic place, very clean and spotless, towels changed everyday. The rooms are quite spacious with a lovely double balcony. The staff are all very helpful, especially Lucy on Reception and Manwell in the pool bar, and not forgettin Edwin who organises the entertainment. The pool area is great and the children loved the splash park jacuzzi. As other people have also stated, why these apartments are only 2 star I have no idea. Would definitely recommend.

We travelled as a party of 8, 4 adults, 3 children and 1 baby

spent 1 week there in sept, was fantastic, spacious rooms, double balcony with pool view, son loved the pool n water features. totally spotless all around, plenty of loungers, staff very helpful n friendly. Everything within walking distance, great choice of bars n restaurants. Check out The Duke cheapest San Migual we found at 2 euro n there budget food menu 12 euro 4 2 adults, and was a decent plateful. For something completely different the mexican place in the centre of town their mixed grills are unbelievable could hav fed the 3 of us. overall excellent holiday & for the first time we are bookin 2 go back next year
