We have just spent six nights at the Es Baulo and it has to be one of the best value for money, small hotels in Majorca. We are a family of four and travel abroad at least three times a year, often staying in four or five star hotels. This hotel was not pretentious, the staff were friendly and helpful and worked extremely hard in the restaurant and bar. I have to say a pleasant change from the stroppy attitude and bad service in many UK hotels and restaurants!
It is a family orientated small hotel near the beaches of Ca'n Picafort. Our room was an apartment on the third floor which was extremely spacious and very clean. A good choice of fresh food at the buffet each evening and excellent cocktails at the bar!
A very relaxing six days in the sun! Fantastic value for money and great service, which we would never have got from a UK holiday.

Just back from 6 nights at Baulo Petit Hotel.
Although quite different from your normal resort hotel, still quite noisy......we were unfortunate to have room right by the table tennis, where all the children congregate till late at night, so felt like we were next to a playground. This is a very German orientated hotel, i.e, German TV Channels, and hotel info, English not provided, we had to ask. Apartments, although roomy, quite uncomfortable beds and sofas and because of balcony backing onto forest, very dark, and suppresive, quite dungeon like. Pity no bath, just a shower. Kitchen quite unequipped, no kettle and we had to share a knife!
We recommend you not to try the horseriding arranged by the hotel, 3hrs is an awful long time, very tiring and exhausting experience.
On a plus.....lovely breakfasts, dinners average for buffet style.

Just returned from a 5 night break at the es baulo petit hotel on a half board basis .Although classed as a 4* in our opinion it would be better classed as a 3*.The rooms were spotless and well equipped with maid service daily and clean towels as requested.The food whilst buffet style was excellent and the menu quite varied. The bar area was nice .The pool was lovely and although it fronted onto the road it was relatively quiet .The hotel is very accesible by road with numerous bus routes nearby.The beach and promenade are a 5 min walk away.There are numerous bars and restaurants serving a variety of cuisine and drinks.Overall it is a nice hotel ,reasonably priced in a good location.

The hotel has apartments and studios on three floors and a good alternative to a big hotel and suitable for families with children. The rooms overlook pine trees in Son Baulo which is a quieter area of Can Picafort . The rooms are fitted out very well and there is free wi fi in the reception area Up until this year they only dealt with Spanish and German travel agents.
Bad Points
We booked the hotel including half board, but we were unsatisfied with the meals.The food area is small . No hot plate griddle cooking. Food left in trays lukewarm. Including bacon and eggs.
One apartment area has a loud water pump fitted above a bedroom roof. Which starts at 7 o clock through till late evening. The pool area apartments are the better ones ,
waking distance to main bars and waterfront.
