“staff amazing”

i had a trip to this hotel in September we had a mishap on holiday and all the staff were fantastic. i would especially like to thank Mark and Karen the entertainment staff who looked after me during the time my wife was in hospital also the reception staff who kept my room night after night. That aside this hotel was great, good food, good entertainment friendly staff considering who they have to deal with and very clean. But as has been written before watch out for the end of the beds as they are dangerous due to the mattress not fitting the bed properly. This aside the hotel was great i would recomend it.

Room Tip: try and get a high floor as they are working from the top floor down

“Unbelievable”

Having read some of the reviews I began to think we stayed at a different hotel to some of these people! We were there for a week in September and had a great time. The room was of a decent standard and the only negative was that there was no hairdryer, other than that the shower was one of the best we've ever had. The stubbing of the toes was true but after a couple of times you made sure you walked round a bit further thats all. The food was excellent and don;t think I've ever eaten that much on holiday before. Sitting at the bar of an evening was quite entertaining, every time you finished a drink the waiter was on hand re-filling it! The only disappointment for me on a personal level was that one evening they had a Beatles Tribute band, who were fabulous by the way, but did anyone get up to dance, did they eck!! The British need to learn to enjoy themselves a bit more...... Other than that a great week with great weather, great beach and a good price to boot.

“Just returned from 11 nights here.............”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 November 2011

Myself, husband and 4 children aged 6-17 has just returned from 11 nights staying at Hotel Haiti. My daughter, her partner and 2 year old son came for a week too, although they booked several months later she included our booking number with hers and we all had rooms next to each other. Clean rooms overlooking pool, clean bathroom. Only had 1 pillow each so we asked for another and all of us (9 received another pillow). Had a very uncomfortable mattress too, that was changed. Only thing I would say was you could hear conversations in the rooms next door (wasn't a problem with us though as we were sandwiched between family). Plenty of choice at the food buffet, food replenished quickly, all piping hot. Hadn't been all inclusive before but I was under the impression you could eat whenever you wanted. Wasn't the case here, breakfast, lunch, cakes and sandwiches late afternoon, evening meal and sandwiches later in the evening. Drinks whenever you wanted. Couldn't grumble though - we certainly didn't go hungry. Entertainment some nights not great, other nights brilliant, depends what you enjoy. Children's entertainment ok, kids seemed to like it however if you have dinner early eve (6-6.30pm) it's a long time to wait until the kids entertainment starts (8.30pm), if you have dinner later, you may not get a seat. Pool freezing but plenty of sunbeds available any time of the day. Short stroll to shops and beach. All in all a great holiday for the price we paid.
