“Villa Barbara”

We have stayed here in a double room with my mom in the end of September 2010. The room was simple, with basic furniture, TV, nice and big bathroom, balcony with plastic chairs and table, sheets and towels were included. I think Villa Barbara is not a hostel, more like a 2* hotel. It´s about 100 m from the and beautiful blue flagged beach. There are many bars, restaurants and shops nearby. The breakfast is served in the Blue beach hotel, which is right on the beach promenade, about max. 5 min from Villa Barbara. It was basic, but enough for us, and plus there´s free wi-fi. I would recommend this hotel to those not looking for luxury, but a great and cheap relaxing holidays in Mallorca.

I havent been in the rooms themselves but I got to the bars at it every night and have seen some of the rooms and they are pretty nice. The staff are really friendly, especially Samil, who is excellent at reading the bingo numbers.

There is even internet access inside the bar and nearly every night you can run 'Samil's Place' out of business by winning the bingo and/or quizzes.
5/5.

(Only downside is no swimming pool but it is only a small place and the beach is about 20 steps away, along with a convenient american style pool tavern and discotheque [which suprisingly makes no noise what-so-ever]
