I travelled to the Club Tonga with my long-term boyfriend and I cant say we were disappointed....
Location is good, 10minute walk into the main town and a great view over Alcudia bay from our balcony. The town is good if you want some nice shops and bars but no clubs. The area was relaxed and a great atmosphere but not full of drunks and 'typical teenagers' and young drinkers.
The hotel itself is a little dated, could do with a re-vamp but the rooms and resturaunt area is clean. The seats around the pool area are plastic but the sunbeds themselves are comfortable although you do have to get up a little early to reserve them.
Entertainment is great for kids, get all the children involved in plays such as Oliver! on a night time and during the day there are pool side activities where the hotel reps get involved.
The food was not bad, always something to choose but the nicest food was at the snack bar, which was sometimes busy but a shaded seating area to enjoy your food e.g. hotdogs, toasties, burgers, pizza and chips....all the usual....
For young couples who are wanting a break, this hotel does the job good as there is a lively atmosphere but people not drunk and not a loud area. Perfect for families.

My family and I stayed there at the end of September. The party included 5 adults and my 14 year old son. We had a wonderful time there, especially with the entertainment team who work from early in the morning till about midnight. There are thongs to do all day there and they have lots of games. You have rifle and pellet gun shooting and archery in the morning and loads of other silly games throughout the day. There is always plenty of food even for my fussy eating son and was always fresh. The rooms although not very big were adequate but don't bother with the tv. You pay for this and only get about 3 English channels. There is about a five minute walk to beach but that is ok. If you want to buy water or sweets etc use the big supermarket about a hundred metres from the hotel. It may not be the best looking hotel around but for the price you pay you will love it!

Cheap and cheerful at best! If you dont mind a dated, anticeptic smelling hotel with the cheapest type of food and drink, all limited as best they can with poorly attended facilities and restrictions when ordering drinks on all inclusive (2 per visit) just became a pain very quickly! The lifts were small and slow also adding to the queueing time spent on the holiday/ full of scary beer drinking, tattooed men and women! When walking into the resort from the Hotel the road smelt strongly of urine, I dont know whether it was from the local animals or revellers, however, I would strongly reccommend paying a few more quid and holidaying in Alcudia or Pollenthia as they are far nicer resorts/ameneties. I came back home early and was very glad to do so!

This was the first time me, my girlfriend and son had gone away together and the first time she had gone on a package holiday. We arrived in the middle of the night and on first impressions, the hotel sign-age gave the impression of a run down place but upon walking into reception, we were greeted with a bright, clean and welcoming hotel. The bedroom was very comfortable and had everything you would want for this type of holiday (and everything worked). Despite being all inclusive, we only really ate half board as there was just so much of it and it was such great quality! The bar staff were not that friendly but the waiting staff in the restaurant and reception staff were excellent!
All local drinks were free and if you got peckish there was a snack bar as well so you're well catered for.
The 3 pools were spotless and had plenty of sunbeds. My son was well catered for as there was a kids club and whilst there weren't very many British kids there, with the different nationalities and the international language of "kid" they all got along great. There was only really one way in or out so it was very safe for kids and it gave my son the opportunity to have a bit of independence yet allowed me to know he was safe!
The entertainment staff were really hard working (there were loads of things going on all day) and whilst trying to get people to join in, would leave you alone if you really didn't want to.
Apart from the pool there were sports facilities and a strange sort of elevated crazy golf game in the gardens and you could hire the equipment from the poolside shack.
Can Picafort was just opening up for the season when we were there but we didn't really venture away from the pool other than to hire a 4 seater bike (too much like hard work in the heat) so it didn't matter to us.
We also hired a car and drove to various places around the island (picnic was provided by the hotel too :-)
On leaving day, the hotel provided a room to get changed and freshen up which was a real bonus.
I would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to any family looking for a good quality holiday at a reasonable price.
Finally we enjoy our holiday? Yes, Yes and yes again. So much so, my son wants to go back next year! Bring on the sun!
