Satnav didn't find the hotel, but got us to the vicinity. We found all the locals very helpful all the time, especially as our spanish is very limited. We got final directions from locals. Hotel reception was very efficient and welcoming. We arrived at about 8 for evening dinner to find a significant portion of the buffet menu gone, and wouldn't be refilled. We always arrived at the start of dinner after that. The choice of food was quite varied, which helped with fussy teenagers, but many vegetable dishes included meat, which did not help the vegetarian in our party.
There was a huge variety of breakfast and evening meal choice on the half board basis.
The rooms were quite small. A triple party room had three singles in it. The bathroom was small but adequate. The air con, was a blower system that wasn't particularly effective.
Two down points. 1. The gym was two exercise bikes and a ropey mutli-gym.
2. Teenagers playing in the pool kept on getting rude german comments, when those persons were getting small splashes. We couldn't uderstand why they were so close to the pool when it was a family hotel. If they had moved back a few foot they wouldn't have been splashed. They was plenty of space for the sunloungers.
The pluses. Outdoor pool, indoor pool, sauna, whirlpools, kids play area, table tennis etc .... all as described. Bats and balls provided. It really is 200 metres from the beach, and the route is a safe one, that all can walk to. Two lifts. Plenty of pool and sunbathing space. Pool towels available for a returnable deposit. Price of drinks and snacks at a reasonable level.
Evening entertainment was provided but not really enjoyed by our party.
The staff were fantastic. I can't praise them enough. Always helpful and considerate.
Loads of cultural events nearby. Along with waterparks and other spills and thrills available.
