The hotel was great. It is mainly for the German market and we were the only Brits in the hotel. The staff all speak German (naturally) but their English is perfectly adequate and we had no problem with communication.
Reception changes money, sells postcards and stamps and books trips. What more do you want?
Bedrooms are small with a balcony with table, two chairs and a drying rack. Bathroom was modern with toothbrush, paste, razor, comb etc supplied. Towels changed on demand. Leave them on the floor and they are replaced.
Restaurant was good. We had our own designated table for our whole stay and while the Germans had to share we had a lable all to ourselves. Food is mainly German and Spanish but quite acceptable. Breakfast for us was rolls and jam but there is lots more available though the scrambled eggs were like rubber. For dinner I liked the soup, my wife liked the salad and there was always a choice of at least two main courses we could eat. Fish was grossly overcooked. Lots of cake for dessert but lots of fruit too.
Bar was poor. No atmosphere and the service was sometimes poor. Much better to go to a bar on the promenade.
Pool is small but we always found a bed no matter what time of day we went.
Location is brilliant, in the town and very close to the beach.
At one end of the hotel is a noisy bar. If you are near that - hard luck.
