We had 5 nights at this hotel in Sept this year. This hotel is meant to be 4 star but unfortunately wasn't. The resort was 99% German so the staff spoke very little English. The amenities advertised were very poor, we took our gym kits and couldn't believe our eyes when we saw the 'gym'. A dark, large, musty room with a couple of dated weight benches and a solitary bike (all equipment looked 20 yrs old!) We didn't see the billiard or pool table, no sign of it. The volley ball pitch was disused and covered in weeds, the archery area was completely dilapidated. The rooms were clean but basic, no tea or coffee making facilities, no English satellite channels, no radio. The food was very nice but as with all buffet style food, it gets very repetitive, very quickly. We didn't take our children but there did seem to be a timetable of activities for them (all written in German) although the only thing we saw evidence of was the mini disco in the evening. There was entertainment every night (starting at 22.00), some shows better than others but there if you wanted to watch something over a drink in the evening. The position of the hotel within the town is excellent, the beach is just across the road, although it is a very small beach and packed every day, we went late in the season so can't imagine what it would be like in high season (towels were put on sunbeds at 7.30 in the morning!) It is a very short walk into the centre where there are plenty of bars, shops and restaurants although they would suit younger people who don't want anything too classy.... There is a lovely walk along the sea wall to the port which did seem to have some very nice looking restaurants dotted along. All in all, we probably wouldn't go back.
