We have just returned from a weeks break at the flacalco hotel in cala ratjada. We were disappointed to say the least!!!! The resort and hotel is entirely German. This is fine, however the German people in our hotel didn't stop staring at us from the moment we arrived until the moment we left. This made it very uncomfortable at meal times. The buffet was minimal, unsuitable for vegetarians and any one who likes to identify their food before eating it. The tables were not cleaned during the sittings, so you had to eat at dirty tables and when the food ran out it generally wasn't replenished. The room was nothing like the pictures posted on the internet. It was so small that it only just fitted the bed and dressing table. There was no fan or air con, so we were forced to sleep on the balcony which was just big enough for the matress. I was disgusted at every thing within the first 24 hours. When i rang the travel company, they implied that i was racist and were very rude to me. I would not advise English people to go here. Nothing against Germans at all. But they made our stay quite uncomfortable by constantly staring and laughing for no appartent reason. The resort is very nice with lots of bars. However, you are hard pushed to find English speaking bar staff. They never understood that we were not German.
