We stayed at the Hotel Flamenco in September 2010 for our annual girls trip (7 of us altogether) I had read the reviews on tripadvisor before booking and the majority of the reviews are from German guests. Although I booked this hotel through TravelRepublic I emailed the hotel directly to request 3 rooms together on a high floor. On arrival the reception staff were extremely pleasant and very helpful. As requested they had put us on the top floor and our rooms were together. 3 of us were sharing one room, the extra bed was a full size bed which was great although I suppose some might consider it a little cramped. We had no complaints at all. It was spotlessly clean and the bathroom was very nice. The water temperature for the shower could sometimes be a bit hit and miss but this was not a major issue. The furnishings in the rooms are tidy. All rooms have air con which was useful as it was very hot whilst we were there. The views from our rooms were excellent, right across the bay and the hotel is literally a stones throw from the beach. We stayed on half board basis and we all agreed the food was excellent. There is so much choice, some of the dishes are cooked to order and everything was very fresh. We had the same table allocated to us during our stay which was a good idea. As previous english reviews have stated, we were with the exception of two other english the only english in the hotel. The majority of the guests are german and the staff working there are obviously geared up to respond to german guests. However this did not cause us any problems whatsoever and they treated us very well. The pool area is nice but we did not use it, the sunloungers get reserved quite early in the morning. The beach is very clean and the sunloungers and umbrellas are great, only Eu3.50 for the day. The sea is beautiful and clear. There is entertainment in the hotel which is okay and again the resort is very much tailored towards german visitors. We did visit an english bar. The cafe sol on the sea front is great for lunch and cocktails.
On our last day as we had a late check out as all the rooms were full we were able to use the shower facilities in the spa and this was just fine. The hotel gave us towels to use. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, it is not full of nightlife that you might get in other resorts and may be a bit quiet for some. However we could not fault it and would definitely return.

Stayed at the hotel for 3 days and didn't like it at all. We payed €125 pn for a very small, dated room and received amenities (showergel, soap, etc.) only on the day of arrival. They wouldn't provide it after we asked for it. You have to pay a fee to use the safe in the room and the minibar is locked (we asked the reception to unlock it but that never happened) It's possible to get beachtowels at the reception, but only 1 per person so after drying yourself you have to lay on a wet towel... All staff members will adress you in German, they all assume that you will understand.

Stayed here with family , wife and 3 kids. 2 rooms half board. Mainly German guests very polite and friendly with my children making friends right away. Daytime and nightime entertainment wonderful. Thanks Anna. Food excellant location fabulous. The sunbeds you got on the first day were yours all week with at same position around pool, a very refreshing idea. Will return next again.

I have just come back from Cala Millor Spain having stayed at the Flamenco Hotel. I have given it a 5 star rating in all aspects. I shall look forward to staying there again.
