Me and my partner stayed here for my 20th Birthday, from the 18th October to the 21st, as i work for a holiday company myself i knew there was going to be germans around as i had read the reviews. I got the hotel cheap enough, £100 Half Board, that was just our online price! (Monarch Hotels) So didnt use my discount as this was cheap enough.. On arrival we were transferd to the wrong hotel but this was due to 'Low Cost Extras' had got mixed up with 'Cala Millor Apartments' and the correct 'Cala Millor Hotel', We finally got there and checked in, the staff on reception are very helpful and even offered a glass of champagne! Whether we would have been charged or not.. we declined as it was morning still! :) ..We was then located our room, which was very clean had a fridge, hairdryer, bath, shower, hugeee bed, balcony with garden/sea view. We enjoyed our few days in Cala Millor, most of the resturants were mainly focused for Germans, as the food at the hotel was german styled, quality food but not to our taste, we eat once. We found a 2 english pubs and bars, the rose and crown is one to look for down the strip on top of the shops, they do good food, bingo, & karaoke. The night before our flight home, one of the staff knocked on before we was on our way out with a big bowl of fruit and a bottle of champagne and a note to say happy birthday, I thought this was great considering i never told them it was my birthday, they did photo copy mine & my partners passport on arrival, but for them to notice this and do something about it made it feel nice and felt appriciated. As we travelled in October it was sunny when we went, beach was packed, the jacuzzi and heated indoor pool was nice, apart from naked germans in the sauna that made my fella run a mile when he walked in it.. But overall fab hotel, definatly 3 star or even more...
