“Good hotel and good location....however it's mainly a German tourist point.”

We stayed at the hotel for 13 nights. All in all the stay was good, we decided to half board with a non catering room. However, English people take it from me....do not eat at this hotel. It caters for the majority of its guests, German people and the food was definitely not to my taste. The staff assumed we were German even though we informed them several times we are not German and do not speak German....they never remembered so we just decided to smile and nod. On the morning of my partners 21st birthday the hotel made a lovely gesture of bringing up a bottle of bubbly for us-even if it was a German bottle and the birthday card was written in German. These are very minor complaints from me really of course they are going to cater for Germans because that's their main source of profit- but I don't think we will visit again because of this. This year we are going to visit the smaller neighbouring island Menorca. Great little spot on th island just maybe not for the british.

“Good Value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 October 2011

The resort itself is a really nice place with plenty to do. The location of the hotel i cannot complain as within 5 minutes of the beach and the shops, pubs etc. The rooms are basic but they are clean with lovely views of the swimming pool and a sea view. I stopped all inclusive and had no compliants what so ever. There were good selection of food and plenty of it and the same can be said about the local drinks. The staff were very pleasant and helpful with nothing too much trouble. There was no fighting for sunbeds, probaley as the English were the minority, the gym has seen better days but the pool and sauna are great. Please note don't be surprised when entering the sauna you see naked men sitting there. You should have seen the look on my wifes face, come to that mine. The hotel also caters for the disabled more than other hotels and also caters for gluten free diets. Overall shame to leave, really enjoyed the short break. Total value for money, would go back and found as only adults only found it a relaxing hotel.

Room Tip: Ask for a pool view and one of the higher floors as good views.

“a very good relaxing hotel for adults”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 September 2011

have holidays twice at this hotel, it has good facilites, good rooms. The hotel does not have very many british tourists but go with the flow and you will meet some very nice people from Europe. The staff do not change every season and this is a very good sign. All inclusive buffet is good, drinks are plentyful, entertainment team work. The disabled facilities are very good at the pool and dining area. (Hoists at the indoor pool. 2 minutes walk from the beach and promanade. No children under the age of 16 is good. I am a parent but it is enjoyable to have a holiday with a hotel that caters for adults. Weill be booking again. We have stayed at 3 Garden hotels, they are a very good brand of hotel which caters for every one.

“Excellent value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 July 2011

I've stayed at this hotel as a solo traveller twice (September 2010 and May 2011). The fact that I came back should be a sure-tell sign that it's a great hotel. I would have stayed here å third time when I went back to Cala Millor in June 2011, but as it's a adults only hotel, I had to stay at another hotel since I was travelling with my daughter aged 16.

Location:
Could not be better. Close to both beach and city centre, not to forget the lovely Sa Punta de n'Amer (a protected nature area). Lovely spot for morning or evening walks. Don't miss it!

Rooms: Basic, clean rooms with a small fridge and a veranda. Cleaning 7 days a week. On my first stay here I had a lovely room with a view over the pool area. The second time I was not so lucky and the view was into a backyard of another building. The stables another reviewer commented on, I found very charming (especially the mentioned donkey). The mattresses are quite hard and having tried no less than 4 of them (as I had a double room even though I paid for a single room on both my stays), I can truly say that some of them have done their job and should be replaced.

Food: Quite nice actually for a 3 star hotel. Lots to choose from even though there is a lot of pork served. Wine is quite nice for an all-inclusive hotel.

Entertainment: The hotel has its own S&E team which is a lovely group of young people. During the day the organize activities such as darts, aqua gym, volleyball, sjoelen, pistol shooting and table tennis and at nights they entertain with a amateur show after which they mingle with the hotel guests.

Staff: As the hotel caters mainly to German tourists only the recepcionists and the S&E speak decent English. The rest of the staff speak mainly Spanish + decent German. Due to this I didn't connect well with the waiters during my stay in Sept. 2010. However... studying Spanish after my first stay paid off and I was able to communicate with all staff in May 2011 and found that they are really nice and chearful people. The impression I was left with in Sept. 2010 was of a polite and efficient team of waiters who didn't really care much for the guests. This opinion however has changed and I find all the staff at the hotel very friendly and nice.

Conclusion: I would not hesitate to go back or to recommend this hotel to couples, a group of friends or solo travellers. As a solo traveller I appreciate the activities during the day as they give you a chance to get to know other people at the hotel.
