Sabina hotel is no luxury, but offers quite a wide range of useful services, from indoor and outdoor swimming pool to ping-pong and the Internet access. It is convenietly located just walking distance from the main LONG beach with clean and beautiful turquoise blue water and waves big enough to enjoy by all age groups. We requested an ocean view (partial) that the hotel offers and it was absolutely fabulous. Every room has a well-working air-conditioning (if you want to keep the air flowing into the room while you're gone, just leave the one of the two key-cards you get in the device you'll see on the left as soon as you open the door). The hotel has both indoor, but also outdoor pool, but not many people use it as everyone tends to hit the beautiful sandy beach immediately after their arrival. The pool is however very good option if you want to cool off a bit. They have plenty of chaise lounges and parasols there. The area is generaly clean and there's a bartender who walks around and brings drinks to the poolside if you order them. They (bartenders) are a bit lazy, but they do their job. Maids are a bit slow too, but if you ask them to change your bed or whatever you need, they will do it. The receptionists are kind and so are the staff in the dining area. The buffet style of breakfast and dinner was well prepared. All kinds of meat (beef, pork, chicken, fish, even tasty shimps), fruit and vegetables. I was missing rice, but I could live without. Maybe one more thing worth mentioning is that the hotel didn't really have any programme for the guests. Well, they did, but to be honest, it was horrible. But that shouldn't really discourage you as there are plenty of other places where to sing (Karaoke), enjoy live music (the best is Cafe del Sol with live music every Tuesday or Thursday), or dance. I love Cala Millor!!! It is not a typical small bay of Mallorca. It is very different. There are some HD videos on youtube or other websites you can check. All in all, we were happy with the selection of the area and the hotel and would not mind booking into it again next time we travel!!!

We stayed September 2004 and rated the hotel very highly. Its in a good position, just off the pedestrianised seafront promenade and 'half way' between the resorts of Cala Millor and Cala Bona. We had a fabulous view of the harbour from our room. The hotel was modernised and the room plus furnishings of good standard considering the prices charged. The hotel pool was only small but because of its close proximity to the beach, we didn't see that as a problem, particularly since we were always able to get a recliner. Booking was a bit of a trial - there is no on-line system, so requires E-mailing - nevertheless, the arrangements worked fine. Breakfast was better than any I've had in Spain and, since I've visited 50+ times and stayed in many different grades of hotel, this is good commendation. I can strongly recommend the Sabina Playa to anyone visiting. Incidentally, the group has another hotel (the Sabina) in the centre of Cala Millor.
