We booked this hotel thru a travel agency in Grafenwohr Germany (off post). We were informed that the hotel was "4 stars" , if we judge the hotel for their food and staff, we can say that it is a "4 stars", but for the room, commodities, AC, and the "all inclusive drinks" we give this Hotel a "2 stars". Beds were hard and unconfortable "worst than regular Geaman beds", AC DOES NOD GETS THE ROOM COLD or even confortable to sleep in. We informed this issue to the front desk since day 1, "maintenance was on their way throught our stay!! " , the shower head broke, the bathroom it doesnt have a steam fan, the television was the greatest 13 inch "tube" tv, on top of the counter (funny as hell). The "all inclusive" drinks were a joke, they serve you drinks in a 4" glass that in a single shot you were done!! anyway, the staff were great, the food excellent, but thats it. DO NOT EAT AT THE CHINESE PLACE ACROSS THE STREET FROM THE HOTEL, IT SUCKS!! If you want a great "Sangria", go to the beach to the right hand side there is the very first place in front of the pedestrian walk, they have the greatest "Sangrias"... 7 stars for that!!

The staff, location, cleanliness, food were all of a high standard. Yes the bedroom was a bit small and the lock awkward to use and there were Germans everywhere but hey we are all Europeans now so vive la differance!

We stayed at Riu Cala Millor for 4 nights and wished we stayed longer. The hotel is on the edge of a beach in a quiet location. All rooms have sea view. The staff are fantastic. The choice of food is good. There is entertainment on nearly every night. The hotal is relaxed, but very efficient. Good value for money. I am disabled and there are disabled parking bays very close to the hotel. The hotel also has a wheelchair for client use on the promenade. There are shops nearby. Although the area tends to be described as development gone mad, we did not feel that. The hotels have spacious gardens and set apart from each other. The area is slightly hilly and good for exploration in a car. There are some lovely coves and places to visit.

The food was good. The waiters were mainly surly and some were downright rude. One or two, like Diana in the dining room and Toni in the bar were very good indeed, but the rest were, in my opinion, in the wrong job.
The gym had some very expensive equipment, most of which had broken switches, instructions, where there were any, in German and the place was unsupervised.
In the dining room, it was impossible to find un-chipped crockery. Soup dishes were particularly prone to damage, with most dishes having both handles chipped or missing.
My wife asked the waiter, Juan, if she could have coffee. He replied, "There is a coffee machine next door. Get it yourself."
This is the first hotel where I have stayed, where no tips have been given for the staff.
