Just come back from a family long weekend break with my 4yr old daughter, great hotel and in a super location 2 mins from hotel to the beach and 5 mins to the shopping areas and right next to Fantasy Island which is great for young kids! You don't need to hire a car for this resort as everything is within a short walking distance and is only a few minutes walk, however if you fancy you can hire bikes and electric bikes should you want to explore the full length of the beach. Hire place is literally accross the road from hotel, 5 mins walk.

Couldn't fault the hotel, although having stayed at an all inclusive Riu hotel this was not as good value, stayed half board, food was good as usual although head out of the hotel for lunch as it is quite expensive to eat on site and the drinks are very expensive even the soft drinks! You will find this packed full of Germans even the entertainment is geared for them. However this was not a problem for us as some of them are quite friendly! You will find this is a more of a formal hotel and people at this hotel don't seem as relaxed as an all inclusive resort. Everybody seems smartly dressed at all times, good for families with young kids and older people, wouldn't recommend it for young couples.

The staff here are really freindly and we couldn't get enough of the General Manager(who's German)of the hotel who constantly visited us to make sure that we were happy throughout our stay.

We stayed in a front facing sea view room, this however gets quite noisey at night and very windy, often waking up to a salty mist in your face in the morning as you are that close to the sea. Overall very pleased with the hotel and facilities and especially the location it is situated at.

Full of Germans ! Stayed here with my partner for 5 nights. Hotel is spotless, food is great, location is peaceful, but this hotel is geared towards Germans. There was only one holiday rep in the hotel and she was German.

Would I stay here again ...... probably not.

Alround a very good hotel, very friendly staff, good food, excellent pool and bar area, and to top it all right on the beach front
Entertainment in the evening is good although the seating area is a little cramped. Resort is good for long walks and good evening entertainment

my husband and I have just returned from 3 weeks holiday at the Riu Playa hotel in cala millor and it was excellent.
The Riu's slogan is `service with heart' and it certainly lived up to it's reputation.
We booked with SAGA --- wonderfull as usual-- but the manager Peter who seems to be there 24 hrs a day- runs the hotel marvellosly, he has first rate staff who always are only to happy to help and advise and nothing is too much trouble.
The food is very good and the resturant has 2 rosettes from saga and caters for all tastes.
The pool area is clean and always plenty of sunbeds and umberellas and also very close to the beach and promenade.
The animation team are first class oraganising plenty of games during the day if you want to join in, and excellent shows in the evening.
All together a wonderful holiday we wil certainly return
