Having come from the horrible Felip in Portocristo this was an oasis of loveliness!! The man at Reception asked us where we had come from, we told him that we had a terrible experience in the Felip. I think that, due to that, we were given an upgrade to a suite (me and Mum). It's a very German focussed hotel, very few people speak any English. Bearing that in mind, it was excellent, load of room, great bathroom, loads of room, massive bed, telly in both the lounge and bedroom. Very quiet, no noise from people next door, lovely and clean, great hotel, looked after.
Only moan is the Spa - very expensive, none of the girls spoke even basic English. The pool has no information and not even any signs on the door, no changing rooms either which means you have to get changed into a swimsuit and bath robe (given in your room) and walk over to the pool like that - bit weird if your room is across the road in the second building, there is a tunnel under the road but you have to walk back soaking wet, which is freezing in December! the whole pool layout isn't thought out, the big jets in two corners ensure that if you use them, you spray and soak the people lounging nearby, the jacuzzi style jets are weak and just spray cold water gently up your bum!! the pool water is cold and there is no sauna that we could find, just a weird 'hot plates' room off the pool.
The rooms are great, the breakfast is nice, although the evening buffet for 30 euros is very expensive (I can't eat 30 euros worth of food). The outside pool and surrounding area is lovely
Ah, this is the 4th time I've written this and lost it - I guess the internet connection is unreliable!!!
Room Tip: have a suiteif you can afford it, loads of room!! this would be great for a two week summer break! w...
