My family and I have just returned from a two week break at The Bahia Grande.
Whilst we enjoyed our stay there was a few things I was dissappointed with.
As said in other reports 99% of the guests were German which made it difficult for my children to make friends.
We had an all inclusive package which I did feel was value for money. The food was good and the restaurant was spotless.
Having a young family we felt the evening entertainment was alright.......nothing too bad anyway.
The rooms were clean and spacious, although the balcony was tiny.
The hotel was nice but I don't think this hotel deserves a 4 star status.
The pool is very small and yes you will need to get up early to reserve beds.
The hotel is quite a walk from the center of Cala Millor, there you will find loads of shops and there is also a large childrens play area.
The beach near were the hotel is located is very dirty but if you walk futher up towards the town the beach there is better looked after.
As I said we did enjoy our holiday but this resort hasn't made me feel like I want to go back.
Little tip ........ if you are going here don't bother taking beach towels, you can pay a 15 euro deposit and get a clean towel from reception evey day, you then get a full refund at the end of your holiday.
