Me and my partner stayed here from August 30th to September 10th. The apartment was clean and tidy when we arrived. The place is in a great local with the shops and bars are 30 seconds away and the beach is only 2minutes away. We only went by the pool once as we found the area small and too many kids.
The apartment was a decent size, had a 2 ring hob and a microwave, not that we cooked though. This was enough for us as we ate out at night, we just made sandwiches and toast during the day. The pizza place opposite the main entrance was lovely. Overall the apartment was ideal for our trip and it was a reasonable price. Would definitely go again. The weather: boiling every day but we did have one or two showers. You did not need any jkts or long trousers/jeans for the evenings. We came back with a lovely colour. Food was a bit hit and miss in the restaurants in Calar Millor. Not many british bars but plenty of german! Cala Bona was a short stroll along the prom which is well worth a look. We took a boat to Cala Ratjada and back for the market which was a reasonable price. The market was bit disappointing but the town itself was pretty. Price wise in Cala Millor: some places were cheap, some were not so cheap so shop around. Had a lovely meal in ’A Taste of Texas’ steakhouse, well the steak the first time we had a steak there it was nice, the second time we went back my partner had half a chicken and I had the mixed grill and we wished we had stuck with the steak, onions and mushrooms that we had the first time. We tried Leo’s one night for a steak, mine was good but my partners was awful and he could not eat it, undercooked and very grissly and fatty. The beach was nice and the sea was lovely but you could get a lot of seaweed every day or two. It was a lot better than the sea at Cala Bona looked. All in all we had a lovely holiday and we would defo stay at the apartments again.

It started with a trip to our local Travel Agents & a request for a cheap break in the sun,well I can honestly say they got it deadright with these apartments.A very clean apartment greeted us & its location in Cala Millor was ideal, very handy for the town,beach & transport.
We had 11great days & and returned home on the 1st October. Two pools to choose from & the beach 50mtrs away what more could you want.
One word of caution take some earplugs with you (traffic noise),this is a suggestion from the wife,mind you she takes them with us everywere.

we stayed at the atalaya for the first two weeks of september,we had returned with the family as my husband and i had stayed here before.we had asked to have a sea view ,but was put in a different block,what looked out on one of the small pools and a side street,not enough storage for my childrens clothes who were sleeping in the lounge,rusty rack where your glasses,plates etc were stored.cracked tiles and rusty ceiling in the bathroom and the mirror wasn't fixed up properly,i was not happy with the apartment we had been given,as it was nothing compared to the apartments in the main block.we asked to be moved to the main block and was told it would be 4 days until one would be free.
once we had been moved, we had a lovely apartment once we had been moved..
we only ate once in the atalaya,as it was my son's birthday and he wanted to have lunch there and that was the last,we ordered a ham omlette's and tomatoe & cheese toastie with chips,we had a ham toastie and as for the omlette's 2 whole slices of ham and it was so thin and burnt,chips were little round roast potatoes.there was only one lady serving and cooking and working at the bar,just dont eat there as the lady can not cook! if want to some nice places to eat i can recommend la sangeria,the jungle,british bull dog and also if your in cala bona janet and johns is very nice and cheap.there is a supermarket over the road from the atalaya what is very well stocked for all your things you will need for your stay. can recommend the glass bottom to puerto de cristo and caves of drach,pirates adventure show,what was fantastic!if you want to stay at the atalaya,please ask for a sea view and to be on the 7th or 8th floor as you will have a fantastic apartment,with lots of storage.

We picked this hotel after reading the reviews from different websites and we were very pleased. The hotel was clean and tidy when we arrived. The apartment was a decent size, however the kitchenette only has a 2 ring hob and a microwave. This was enough for us as we ate out most nights, however there is no oven if you fancied eating in. Overall the apartment was ideal for our trip and it was a reasonable price. Would definitively go again.
