Just returned from a 2 week stay in Cala Nau aparthotel. It's in the western part of Cala Millor, 5 minutes walk from the beach. We'd asked for a room on the quiet side when booked through TravelRepublic- and we got it. The air-conditioned self-catering studio apartment was spacious, clean and had all the amenities. It was cleaned 5 days a week and had a nice balcony.
Reception staff speak English and German (like most of the staff at the resort due to the high number of German tourists there). The pool looked fine, although we didn't use it- it felt like a sin not to go to one of the best beaches in Mallorca. The varied entertainment was mainly in German, like in most of the hotels, and catered to children too.
There are 4 supermarkets right next to the hotel- 2 Spars, a LIDL, and a local one. Overall, a great hotel, located close to the beach and the heart of the resort, with a bus stop right across the road from where you can get to Palma, the caves and other attractions!
