The hotel was in a central location in the old part of the town. It was great being able to park the car in the hotel's underground carpark, forget about it and walk everywhere.

All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

If we return to Ubeda, we would certainly stay in the same hotel.

Nice hotel, our room was comfortable but a little basic. The hotel has a nice restuarant and bar area, however the staff didnt speak english. The reception staff were very freindly and spoke excellent english.
The hotel is in a good locaion to walk into town.

am very surprised that this is the first review of an excellent hotel. it is in the heart of the old town - not as 'grand' as the converted palace hotels but considerably cheaper (we got an amazing value rate of 50 euros in feb). it's in a quiet backstreet location, the rooms are spacious and pleasant, there is a nice looking patio and small pool in the centre of the hotel, and it has free wifi. it is only a couple of minutes from the main sights of this renaissance jewel of a town. also gave us an exciting 'first' - a car lift which took us down to a subterranean garage. however only suitable for small vehicles (a VW Golf in our case, which is about the maximum comfortable). make sure you get directions as its very difficult to find without them. note that husa is a leading spanish hotel chain which sometimes has good offers on its web site.
