We paid 43 Euros for a twin bedded room booked on the Husa website and thought this excellent value. The staff were friendly and helpful, our room spacious, comfortable and clean. Parking (other reviewers mention the lift down to the underground car park and we would agree that a medium size saloon is probably the largest car that can be manoevred easily within the garage) cost a further 10 Euros for the night - but there are no convenient car parks close to the hotel and there is NO on street parking. The old town of Ubeda being almost a "living monument", there is not a great choice of bars or resturants, although a 10-15 minute walk, quite pleasant, brings one to the new town where there are other options. We elected to have dinner in the hotel - their offer was less than 15 Euros per person for 3 courses with one "bebida" and we were pleasantly surprised. The food was freshly cooked, there was a good choice, abundant portions and an inexpensive wine list. The service was very pleasant and attentive. Breakfast was a futher 5 Euros per person and was adequate, though not exciting, with fresh coffee from the bar. We spent a comfortable, undistrubed night in comfortable large beds and would definitely stay here again if in Ubeda.
