Just spent a week there in mid- January skiing. I went their with an organised group of about 25 - so not sure what the actual tariff was. Although the snow wasn't great (not their fault) the hotel was fantastic. Even though the Dolomites had little natural snow the man made snow was great and covered all the slopes - off piste skiing wasn't really possible, but the cold weather - minus 10C or so kept the snow in good condition.
The staff couldn't have done more - all so friendly. The rooms were excellent - I had a single room and while not large it was well laid out with plenty of storage and always clean. The only downside was the food - it was soo good that I put on weight. The breakfasts are fantastic - there is nothing wanting, everything you could possibly want is available. The dinners - well they were even better and I had to be careful not to over eat it was all so delicious. Five courses if you wanted it.
I used the hot tub, steam rooms and the pool most evenings after skiing - before going to the bar before dinnner.
Their little bus took you to the lifts in the morning and picked you up again in the evenings.
A really fantastic place to stay

We stayed at the Evaldo at Christmas time for the past two years because we love the location and the friendly staff.

From the minute you check in, Christina, Michael and the staff make you feel like you're part of the family. The rooms are spacious and the food is excellent. Giussepe and his staff in the restaurant go out of their way to make sure you get the best food possible at each and every meal. The Spa area in the basement is fantastic, with two massage therapist on duty, a whirlpool, a steam room and three different saunas. Down the hall is a Ski room with lockers big enough for four pair of skis and four heated boot racks. There also is a small workout room in case you take a day off from skiiing, or don't ski at all. Speaking of skiing, the hotel arranges for your lift tickets, and you pick them up at the front desk when they arrive. I recommend getting the Dolomiti Superski pass, which is good for the entire Sella Ronda region. Finally, the hotel provides free shuttle service to and from the two lifts in town. I definitely will stay there again.

We booked a last minute trip to walk/via ferrata/climb in early October, and found many hotels closed. The Evaldo was the only one open in Arabba where we wanted to base ourselves, but we were really happy to have found it. The family who run it are delightful, the staff very friendly and professional in their approach, the hotel is very comfortable and well appointed, the food very good. The pool was excellent. We'd thoroughly recommend this hotel, and are already planning another trip next year. A weather observation: we had 3 days in shorts and t-shirts, then it snowed overnight and plastered everything down to valley level with the white stuff which remained until we left!
