From the monent we arrived at the hotel we were made to feel welcome. We were the only english speaking people in the hotel so was a little difficult at times but we made an effort with our Italian and so did the staff with their English.

The hotel was immculate, very clean. The room was quite modern with a large bathroom. The cleaners came everyday to clean to room.

When we went the Restaurant, was not open for evening meal, but the breakfast was very good with a selection of meats, cheeses, fruits, cereal, muffin bread etc.

The had a relaxing atmosphere, and drinks were really cheap...

The hotel itself is is located 5 mins away from the sea, and only 10 mins from the main square.

The only down point is the fact the hotel swimming pool is opened as a public swimming pool and guests and only use very early in the morning....... you can you use the outside pool all day. If you are sunbathing expect tons of locals walking past every five seconds to get to their swim aerobics class!!!

We had booked another hotel and it was so awful that we left and found Nicotel. The room was large, the garage onsite, the staff very friendly and helpful. The views were the best!. Cute town with good restaurants.

After a stay at the Nicotel of Pineto at Castellina di mare (wish was great and everything you expect of a four stars hotel!), the Nicotel at Bisceglie came as a (bad) surprise. We rented 3 rooms all with problems. No air conditioning available, leaks in the bathroom, damp carpet in the room, very bad and unfriendly management etc..., but most of all the swimming pool is not available to hotel guests because it is rented out as a public swimming pool. After complaining, we were only allowed to swim from 8 to 9.30 in the morning, the rest of the time it is closed to hotel guests, which they feel is natural. A hotel best to avoid and certainly not a four stars hotel.
