First day was awful. After a few hours travelling we were glad to arrive but were made to feel very unwelcome,there was no one able to serve a drink, and no towels anywhere! After complaining to the manager (despite the efforts of the receptionist who kept saying no, the director is busy!) this was all fixed but it was not a good first impression and were ready to walk away. We had booked a 'junior suite' which was no bigger than a normal double room in most hotels. we spent ages being trying to get air con to work only to eventually be told it needed to be switched on by reception on their computer! First night the light in our balcony wasn't working. there is a spa - which is one of the reasons we chose this hotel. I went within half hour of arriving to be told there were no treatments available at all for our stay (3 nights). Room service doesnt start until 8pm. (we had a 6 year Old with us so not very helpful).The only good things were we had fun in the swimming pool and the food was good. The receptionist continued to glare at us throughout our stay but there were a few really nice staff particularly in the restaurant. will never return.

Beautiful hotel with a great view if you pay for it. Shower needs mold cleaned but otherwise very clean. Staff is fairly helpful. Hard time locating the hotel on foot from the train station. No buses or cabs around in the area.

We stayed here one night. Nicotel is very modern, similar in all ways to a large American hotel chain. The rooms are large, air conditioned, parking is free in an underground garage, wifi internet is available for a fee, there are 2 elevators, and a very nice swimming pool. We ate at the hotel restaurant twice, as there were few options within walking distance that weren't bars or cafes offering simple panini. The food is fine, and not overpriced, but it's nothing to rave about. The beach is a short walk away. We enjoyed our stay.

From the monent we arrived at the hotel we were made to feel welcome. We were the only english speaking people in the hotel so was a little difficult at times but we made an effort with our Italian and so did the staff with their English.

The hotel was immculate, very clean. The room was quite modern with a large bathroom. The cleaners came everyday to clean to room.

When we went the Restaurant, was not open for evening meal, but the breakfast was very good with a selection of meats, cheeses, fruits, cereal, muffin bread etc.

The had a relaxing atmosphere, and drinks were really cheap...

The hotel itself is is located 5 mins away from the sea, and only 10 mins from the main square.

The only down point is the fact the hotel swimming pool is opened as a public swimming pool and guests and only use very early in the morning....... you can you use the outside pool all day. If you are sunbathing expect tons of locals walking past every five seconds to get to their swim aerobics class!!!
